Shop looks open, sign staying operation hours is also clear that it is open. Stood around for a while, auntie does not want to take our order. So we wanted to confirm if the shop is open. She said read it yourself. Wth. And she doesn't want go take any orders. Saw a couple more customers going up to the store but leaving cause they were not served. One customer managed to get her food though. Not interested to do business also don't need to be so rude leh.

Ordered some dishes to takeaway with my container but the staff kept rolling her eyes and told the neighbour staff at the chicken rice stall that she want to scold people already (not sure if she is refering to us). Not friendly at all.

Not sure how they get award for Best Singapore food. The claypot liver is so hard and taste horrible. The blood in it didn’t turn to cooked Color and remain red for sometime. The fish meat in the fish head bee Hoon is not fresh. First time here and utterly disappointed. Not recommended at all.

A normal neighborhood zichar stall at the corner of the HDB block. Depending on what you ordered. I have been here a few time. I have tried veg tofu (菜香豆腐), cai po omelette(香脯蛋), golden brick tofu(金砖豆腐), minced meat omelette (肉碎蛋),mixed vegetable (蔬菜什锦), black pepper deer meat(黑椒鹿肉), green pepper sliced fish(青椒鱼片), white seafood beehoon, ginger onion sliced fish, sweet & sour fish, silver fish fried rice. The taste are sometimes good and perfect, sometimes good but salty. A bit inconsistent in cooking. The portion is generous for the price paid. The aunties taking orders tends to be quick at bad mouthing us the customer eg if ask for no onions they will loudly comment to each other or neighboring stall helpers that today a lot of strange people with strange request. Like most people commented their attitude needs improvement. That's why 3 stars. If not they can get 5 stars.

Worse store, with the worse service! I waited more 30 mins for the takeaway. When I asked the auntie about the waiting time she gave me a smirk look and said that 30mins is very normal and don't bother telling me the estimated waiting time. There are definitely better Zhi Zar in Serangoon Area.

food is very average or below average and the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. sometimes all the dishes come already and the rice is nowhere to be seen until much longer. sometimes the rice comes and the dishes are nowhere to be seen until much longer. definitely the last time eating here.

Five of us had five dishes with rice - all for $43.50, less than $9 per head. Definitely value for money. Quality is maintained after my last visit a year ago. Highly recommended.
