Texas Chicken

The Indian lady was very rude. She just throw black face and attitude at customers, can’t answer simple questions properly and directly.

A very poorly managed establishment. First example: Entrance The main door is locked and a sign "use the side door" is placed. For any law abiding Singaporeans, he would have proceeded to the side door. There are two notices on each of the door leaves stating "Exit only". So I went around the whole building trying to find the side door designated as "entrance" which I failed. Then I saw people entering from the "Exit only" so I followed suit. I asked the staff why there is a need to create such confusion, Julie answered "the Exit only" cannot be removed and this arrangement is for today only as the main entrance is faulty. I then told her she should have placed a sign, for today only, reading entrance. She said she couldn't. I gave up. Second example: The Google Maps says Opens at 11am but the actual opening hour is 8am. Updating the Google Maps info takes only 1 minute but no one is doing it. Very few companies would ignore such important details. Third example: The staff I spoke with, Juliet seems to be overloaded with everything. She is manning the counter, clear the table and delivers the plates. There is one more person at the kitchen, both of time running a fast food restaurant with floor area around 1,000++Square feet and over 50 seating capacity. I think this is exploitation. Final though, if this restaurant can't even manage such simple things, how are they going to comply with hygiene standards? This worries me. I hope NEA can show up to check so ensure the health and safety of the customers.

Very upset and sad to order 2 sizes 3 pieces chicken set form Grabfood.when I received.all give me chicken wings. Called many times never answered.

The restaurant is clean and would be fine to eat in. But they often mistake order contents for delivery. Today again. My order was 5pcs chicken combo (5X original chicken and 3 X spicy tender). They delivered half cooked chicken tender, still white in color skin as shown in the photo. Not spicy, of course, and mixed spicy chicken 2 and original chicken 3. Previously they delivered with wrong contents like this combo burger was missing. I don’t want to complain like this way but even though I called to store more than 5times after delivery, nobody answered the call and just ignored. Very disappointed.

Large dining area with ample of seats. Usually not crowded to dine in. Only fast food joint in hougang capeview. Waited one hour for a pickup order and gave only after asking four times. Some of the staff attitude is really bad but there are really nice staff also. Always messed up with delivery order, not once, not twice but many times. Food quality is also poor than other outlets.

Happened to be around the area. So popped over here for lunch. Wasn't crowded at all so that was a good thing. They had quite a range of promo meals so options was good. We decided to order individual sets and I had the 3 piece meal while colleagues had some other set meal. I got one with the Haebee Spicy Chicken myself. was self service ordering at the kiosk. Simple enough. Got our number and about 8 minutes our meal was ready. So here's where the experience felt a tad bitter. Went to the counter to collect and I requested for extra chilli packets, sugar and creamer. 3 set meals for 3 grown adults to be precise. We got 6 packet of chilli, 2 packets of creamer and sugar for our coffee and tea. So obviously I had to ask for extra. You know when the person serving you is unhappy to do so? That's exactly how I felt. Mind you, I used my please, thank yous and even address her by her name but somehow I was met with a cold respond. I'm not asking for an all cheery sunny disposition but a cordial reply would have sufficed. Well, I just took whatever and went to my seat. The chicken was alright. Personally it's much better then the bigger names but not the first choice. Really the kind where, if I'm there it would be the place I consider going. The thing is simple, any good food serve by individuals who don't seem to want to be there leaves a bitter taste. Not being the prime choice would beckon one to be upping their game rather then behaving as such. This has happened a few times so in order to be the choiced chicken makan place, Texas Chicken need to look into customer service pronto. Food : 3 / 5 Staff : 3 / 5 Ambience: 3 / 5

Ordered their Valentine’s Day special via delivery, was surprised to receive the special heart shape box! Always love their chicken, so tender and smooth and skin not too salty. Love that they packed the cheese sauce separately for the fries too.
