Terrible !! They cancel your flights for no reason at all, and without sufficient compensation. It was difficult trying to get a response from them. We had to fight for our ticket refund with our travel insurance instead. Please use other reliable airlines.

Had to pay $50 to change a name typo. When I got there they said there would be an addition to that. After wasting a great amount of time they suggested I book another ticket and they would get back to me the next day if my previous ticket could be fixed. This is where I should probably mention that the lady denied me the request of speaking with a manager. Everyone I called at Thai airways gave me a different answer to my query. Imagine the lackluster training that has to be received for everyone to have a different answer and solution for a name change! TLDR: I paid an extra $50 instead of the flight adjustment fee they wanted me to pay. Also they changed my seat without permission from aisle to window. Not that it matters, but this was my first time flying Thai Airways.

Called them to ask about my ticket. Their contact numbers were unreachable as the line kept ringing, and their automated responses on the email showed that they haven't been replying since 2020. Bad customer service.

I would honestly like to give 0 stars. Called countless of times and no one picks up, tbh is there even staff working there or not or to save cost they removed all their customer services officer.

Thai airways is the worst, I had a last minute work trip in April. There was a problem with my Thai Pass and I couldn’t go, though my Thai pass came in an hour after my flight departed AND if they’d let me on my flight I would have had it when I arrived. I still went to the airport to explain to them and try. They wouldn’t refund me for my flights, including my return flight (even though I told them 24 hours in advance), without applying a $100 cancellation fee to each, 40% of the total charged. I can not believe that an airline could be so scummy when travel is inhibited by Covid restrictions. I will have many more trips to Thailand in the coming months with less restrictions but I will not fly ThaiAirways. I have worked in hospitality my whole career and now I work in travel as well. I will be sure to go out of my way to share my Thai Airways experience with all of my guests and clients. Also, they have just told me my refund will take 180 days. Oh and they are basically unreachable, by email or call, they don’t really want to talk to you. It took over two weeks for my original inquiry to be addressed and weeks more for them to tell me to take a hike. This is not a luxury brand, they should not be at this price point and I would suggest flying with one of the equally expensive but higher quality airlines available.
