β β β β β The space was an experience in and of itself - elegant and understated, taking us "away" from Singapore and into a dimly-lit, intimate den with old-school glass lamps and a sleek, lacquered counter, which had our fingers reaching for cocktails all too soon.
Chii-san is a clear master of his craft (as was his team) and had us constantly tippled up with some of the finest cocktails on the island.
NB: Don't forget to nibble, namely on the unagi "burger" and tuna jaw for that perfect pre-cocktail belly-liner.

β β β β β Awesome cocktail quality. Layer of flavours and itβs simply delicious! Go for the Japanese Original cocktails! Wasabi in a cocktail is a first for me.

β β β β β Lunch here was a stunner! The ingredients were fresh and generous, I had such a great time.
The star dish for me was the aburi otoro. Gentled charred under the perfected heated charcoal, topped with snow sea salt.
I'll definitely be back for more.

β β β β β Limited seating space that can accommodate only 10-12 guests. Just as its name βKakureβ suggests βhidden placeβ in Japanese, it creates unique secret ambiance here.
As a bar, they provides limited options but omakase level of Japanese dishes. Unfortunately I didnβt have good appetite on the day visited, so did not really enjoy that much the 2 cocktails and 1 chirashi donburi I ordered.
