As 2 of my friends wanted to order fish and chips with tartar sauce, the staff came out with the blackest face I’ve seen and said “no tartar sauce”… So he asked another friend to go ahead and order but as other friend tried to order , the guy said “dont stare at my face, my face dont have menu” we were flabbergasted at this service and wondered if this guy thinks the whole world owe him something black like his face. we waited for the food and saw that this guy was in the kitchen using his phone while waiting for the microwaved food ,we were scared that he would put his own tartar sauce into our food. as we collect our food, bro this guy was eating my friends curly fries.we saw that our order wast the 5th order of the day(no wonder duh). ngl the chicken was cooked to perfection. super bussing . would recommend for the food if can bare the terrible black face service.
C	CCS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update 16 July 2020: Thankfully the place is now closed - and that guy is gone! Something is seriously wrong with this stall. The food, when finally served, is passable, except the so-called "side dishes" were nothing more than a few slivers, cold and unappetizing. Concurring with other abysmal reviews, the lone "rude" guy manning the stall was more crude. Perhaps a disgruntled "last man standing" or just a deep-rooted cultural import, SAFRA shouldn't let him spoil the tremendous efforts in refreshing the SAFRA brand. REALLY. Don't let such people get away
C	Chua Bobby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frankly I think this place is short of staff. This guy is a one man show doing cooking, order taking, payment. Last time when it first started, the same staff wasn't that rude but now his face so black like soot and with attitude. Hope the employer look into this staff shortage. Also I've seen other zhi char stalls where one person does cooking and serving etc but is super friendly and patient , so guess it all boils to the workers attitude. If this guy with bad reviews is reading this, remember we customers don't pay to see your attitude and black face, we always have a choice to patronise elsewhere. It's a matter of time you'll lose your business.

Recently, the staff here really has the worst attitude... always blackface and always not at the counter, several times we came to eat he's not there... then once i found out he's playing mobile game in the kitchen...so i called out to him and asked if i can order, he just ignored me and he said he is busy... 'playing game'. After his game he came out and say he is not taking order, when he just opened...???
P	Pan-pan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guy was very rude. He was nice to the two families prior to us but when it’s our chance to order he was very annoyed. Also the other family before us kept on coming back to him about the incorrect order while we are literally telling our order to the guy. After the other customer left, he switched back to us and gets very annoyed again. After sitting down on our table, he shouted in the kitchen (out of frustration i guess). Everyone in the food hall heard him shout. We got scared as he might do something bad to our food (who knows right?) :( We did not do anything about him being rude. We just decided to leave. We ended up leaving their call coaster/pager in front of their stall and then we ate at Old Habits instead. :)
