Most expensive Nasi Lemak I've eaten. Lol. Not bad, not fantastic, cannot justify the $18++ price tag. The Kueh is very nice. $5 acceptable. The satay is nice, BUT it was so badly burnt I spent quite some time removing the burnt portion. Will consider going back again, for the desserts only.

Had a good overall experience at this restaurant. Firstly kudos to all the staff, very friendly, attentive, and sincere. I had very high hopes for the food, however I personally felt there are some room for improvement. Nasi lemak ayam berempah - I’d love for the chicken to be fried longer, so that the skin is crispier, and the meat is cook thoroughly. However the rempah is really nice! Love how the egg is cooked, crispy on the side and still runny on the yolk, cucumber was fresh, ikan bilis and peanuts were awesome! Satay was awesome too! Didn’t really enjoy the tahu begedil, I guess that’s just my preference, I can’t really enjoy the mixed fillings. Chendol was average. Lastly, quite disappointed with the kueh sampler. Koswi was too soft and too sweet, kueh salat was okay, bingka was the highlight. With the honest review, I would love to be back soon to try on the rest of the menu, but will pass on the desserts on my next visit.

Made reservations and was there in the afternoon to see if it as good as reviews. Wanted to order stingray and also sotong but was sold out. Ordered their Nasi Lemak with Chicken, accept their recommendation for Tauhu Bergedil and also special drink Coconut Shake. Order was fast the shop was still renovating, nice space on second floor the staff was very proactive to offer water and ask how was food. This was fantastic, surprisingly at this late in afternoon still have so many people from nearby eating and were so loud with laughter that could not hear anything but their noise. Back to food the Chilli was spicy but a sense of sweetness not there, the chicken was not dry but seriously need more flavor as it was bland to the point I thought my tongue had problem, the rice has slight coconut flavour but not pronounced. The Tauhu also same bland did not taste the flavor of ingredients except the v we very strong taste of mash Tauhu. The Coconut shake was fantastic not too sweet. Hope it is due to new opening the flavor has not been fixed.

Finally managed to dine at the new place at Beach Road. It can get crowded so reservations are useful. We had the gado gado, otah and tauhu bergedils as starters. Tastewise, they were okay but the gado gado dish was on the small side so we had to order another. The chicken nasi lemak was good as the chicken was marinated and cooked well. The peanuts and anchovies were fresh and crispy and the chilli was good if a little sweeter than spicy. The selah fish was also fried well and a good size. The rice was nice but jot as lemak as expected. They serve refillable still or sparkling water at $3 a bottle. Meal for three mains came up to $130.

The Coconut Club is one of my daughter's favourite place to go whenever the nasi lemak cravings hit. We had these items for lunch today and paired it with Zarina Begum's teh tarik. I gave it 4 stars because they forgot to give us our Udang Nanas and I also prefer the fish to be scaled more efficiently but overall we had a very satisfying and enjoyable meal. The tapioca kueh was also very memorable and I had 4 pieces in one go after a full meal.

Fantastic food... have been to a few places in Singapore and this was my favourite meal so far.. having spent a few dollars and many dollars at various restaurants. Lots of staff making the experience great and the flavour and spice was great as well as the meats and veg cooked perfectly for us. Will definitely be back and would bring friends or family too. Just great ?

Really great place to go for upscale Nasi Lemak. I liked how they did it in the dinner service with communal dishes. The fried chicken is awesome and so is the rice. Sauces are nice too, and solid cocktail options.
