Toast Box

Toast box I feel is very unhygienic. When I was trying to claim something through the phone app, the staff insist of touching my phone to key in the code without being able to give me a reasonable explanation. I’m not sure why is there a need to touch the customers phone instead of just providing the PIN number for us to key in. Not like I can do anything with the PIN number. Secondly, I have seen cashiers dropping other people’s phone while doing that and I am trying to prevent that from happening.

Kopi is average. Could be stronger. But pastry is good. It's next to BreadTalk so you can buy bread and cake from there and eat here.

The standard has dropped. Ordered the thick toast no longer thick and tea was diluted.

What's with the 5 star reviews? They are horrible. Food is meh but overpriced. Order takeaway and found out that staffs forgot one of my orders, contacted them for refund but they refused despite showing them receipt. Customer service do not bother to follow up. Got scammed.

While we can understand the seats limit of 45 mins due to limitations but for those who has sat with one order of food & find themselves not filling to order another set, the limitations of the same 45 mins is not reasonable!! Trust the staff & Mgmt use some brains & not stick solely to a one size fit all stupid policy!

Quick lunch with the mee goreng which was spicy enough but lacked flavour. The fried hard boiled egg and luncheon meat were nice though. Iced lemon tea was great as always while service was friendly.

Came here for a cup of tea in the evening (6:00 pm, 14 May). There is an uncle here who has 5/5 star excellent customer service: attentive, polite, energetic, and friendly. Made me feel welcome and right at home. This review is for you, Uncle. You are winning customers for Toast Box.

I always patronised Toast Box bec they are the very few coffee outlets that are able to produce consistently good local coffee. Ironically, I have never rated any of the locations, except this sublet. What impressed me was the way it had organized itself, first with a courteous staff uncle greeting you and asking if you are having the session at location or take away. There is another Q for take always. Thereafter, he would diligently clear any empty tables and direct you to it, ensuring the table is reserved for you. The manager (the one in brown uniform) also impresses me bec despite being very busy, she would (small tattoo on her right arm) asked politely what you want and serve you diligently. The Tao Chiu (coffee brewer) would also ensure his coffee is brewed w best quality (trust me, there is a diff). And finally, when your order is alighted late, the other staff would bring it to you! Wow! Very well managed. So far, one of the best I've patronised. Hopefully the rest are able to do the same. Cheers
