β β β β β pretentious little place, but that's about it.
the physical store looks like a small neat butchery, but looks are deceiving.
there is nothing special that the competitors do not have.
what they have is a horde of foreigners running the whole operation.
try ordering online when their overlords are not watching.
they will switch up planned delivery dates and times to their liking, take up a condescending "take-it-or-leave-it" attitude.
if you have to speak to them on the phone, you will be greeted by a rude foreigner from a nearby country who will insist on their way and ignore the customer's convenience.
they forget that they owe everything to Singapore and the Singapore dollar.
you have been warned.
reply to their reply:
I have visited their place, and my family members have made multiple purchases. Each time hoping for improvement. Do not put words in my mouth.
This little operation is ignorant that it has multiple competitors with even better products.
If you are afraid of 'vindictive reviews' , which are more accurately described as truthful, then don't be on google.
Be professional, not passive aggressive. A shame.

β β β β β Bought excellent NZ salmon fillets with skin on from here (5 fillets for $68). Made teriyaki salmon and in my kid's words... " I never knew salmon can taste this good.. .." ?

β β β β β Upon entering the storefront, I was hit with an extremely peculiar smell. Not one of fresh fish, but of a perfume covering an odor.
The salmon looked amazing, and they have an interesting selection of gourmet food ranging from meat and cheese to olives and spreads. However none of their meat or fish seemed fresh on Sunday, as everything was vacuum packed or frozen. The fish selection looked better than the meat (as the store name would imply), though the fish selection was small given its namesake. Honestly, the meat quality seemed subpar, so Iβd probably buy my meat from one of the local butchers instead.
The store was cramped and service very slow. Possibly worth a look if youβre looking for gourmet ingredients in the botanic gardens area, but I think there are better destinations in Singapore for fresh meats, cheese and fish.

β β β β β Wonderful seafood, Great organic meat at very good prices. A perfect competitor to Hubers Butchery with a unique market position and a selection of items not commonly found in Singapore. Hope to see more outlets in the future! Great!

β β β β β Walked into their retail stall at Cluny Court SC.
Was served by a friendly staff. Bought 2 slabs of NZ King salmon fillet at very reasonable price. Most importantly, the fish was very fresh being air flown from NZ. Highly recommended!
