the flyingchef- an extremely talented chef, who uses only the finest ingredients! ordered the nonya laksa, and simply described as katong laksa with ALOT of ingredients. the aroma of the gravy immerses one into the freshness of ingredients used. the texture of rice vermicelli remains springy despite me only eating hours later (after hosting my party). beef wellington was amazing!!! the beef remained tender and juicy though it was finished in my amateur counter top oven. i cooked it longer than required as i was serving it to kids and elderly who prefer more cooked beef. but it’s the best beef wellington i had! scent of the mushrooms oozes out as I cut the wellington. the saltiness of bacon/ham blends well with the beef. not forgetting the crisp pastry that held all the flavors together! the sides of the beef was so tender that my almost 3 year old polished if off his plate, but I could gently slice thin slices of beef for his seconds. truly an amazingly talented chef who has grasp the very technically challenging peranakan dish. Simon’s dishes shows his love and passion in each dish he prepares. A true blue peranakan!

Ordered takeaway for 5 pax. The dishes ordered were dry mee siam, ayam buah kelur, babi ponteh, chap chye n ngoh hiang. All of the dishes were flavourful n totally yums! If you want good peranakan food, you cannot go wrong with the flyingchef. Will definitely head back there if there's a gathering at my place.

By far one of the best if not the best and most authentic peranakan food. Quality food with generous portions of spices, flavours and ingredients. Simon was extremely patient with my queries and really whipped up a meal that was truly memorable. Highly recommended and would definitely order again!

Make a reservation with flying chef as a surprise birthday dinner for my love. Being a baba, he is critical when it comes to nyonya dishes. He enjoyed all the dishes, especially the penang laska. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, beautiful cutlery, superb service and culinary skills. We had a wonderful time and most memorable dinner for us.

No cheap ingredients here: only the freshest ingredients, prepared to a level that could satisfy even the chef's mother. A great culinary option for authentic Peranakan delicacies. Takeaway and delivery are also available for those who prefer to eat in the comfort of their own home, but a great fine dining experience is available for those who would like to enjoy the full experience.
