A very charming and rustic little bookshop. If you want to buy very affordable second-hand books, this bookstore is a must. We also find here a large variety of new books at a reasonable price

The place is a little secluded, but attention is excellent and prices fair. The proprietary is French and very helpful. My taxi driver couldn't find it, but I had a little faith and kept looking for it.
They sell new and used books and are divided by genre instead of author, which is excellent because I was not shopping for anything in particular, just wanted some SciFi from classic authors (and got 4 books!)
The hours are tricky though:
* They are CLOSED from Monday to Wednesday.
* Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 11AM to 6PM.
* Sunday: 11AM to 3PM.
I was lucky I went on Saturday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly owner, proud of his bookstore! It may be a little hard to find. But as you walk along Tiong Baru Rd, look out for his green sign sticking out into the five-footway. It's next to a pavement durian stall. Glad to see an independent bookstore in Sg giving the French language some love!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came yesterday at 11.30am and it was closed (said it was open on Google Maps). I kindly edited the hours on Google Maps.
As the entrance hours sign says it is open on Thursday, I came back again today, Thursday, all the way from East Coast. Closed again. ?
Result is: I've lost 4 hours of my life in transports, thanks for that. I will not waste my time a 3rd time and will order on Amazon, which is a complete shame as my purpose was also to support local shops.
Very disappointed.
Please update your opening hours thoroughly.
