★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Halia, is one of my favourite places for anytime dining. For one, the green and freshness of the place is enough for one to feel relax. With all the lush greenery, many op for the alfresco dining as it’s cool all the time. Breakfast menu is different from the dinner menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a few dishes during lunchtime. Do remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment as this place is packed! Tried the asparagus, it's nice and soft and goes well with the mustard seeds. The octopus was highly praised by my friend. I found it non chewy and just nice. The steak of the day , although medium done, tasted soft and not tough. The service is great. Ambience even better. I'll definitely be coming back again. Also don't over order thinking the portions are too small. It's actually just nice. Wait about 20 mins while sipping on some beverage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The photos of the dishes online doesnt do justice as they were actually very delicious. Food are served when they are ready, so if you want to have them in courses, you can start ordering when you are close to finishing your current dish. Beverages was refreshing and worth the try.
Would recommend seating indoors as it does get humid outdoors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food. I dun like the fish, a bit raw, should ask them cook more if u not happy with the fish. The rest is good. The drink was so so nice, the witket something I can’t remember but it is the recommended on the menu. The staff is friendly. I like this place a lot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Halia restaurant has a nice ambience and beautiful surroundings. I came with three other friends on a Sunday afternoon. Though the weather is scorching hot, I didn't sweat while dining at the restaurant. There are plenty of fans and there are also blinds which helps in reducing the restaurant temperature. The overall service is good, and the food is delicious. Though it's full house at that time, crews still managed to provide a good service. Reservations are strongly recommended for The Halia. You also cannot stay too long in the restaurant as you need to give ways to other customers who already do the bookings. Staff is polite when she reminded us when customers are waiting. I don't mind coming back again if I want to dine in nature.

It’s best to make reservations as it’s a popular walk-in joint. When I do my morning or evening walk at the gardens, a hot CGC (cumin, cinnamon and ginger) is a must have drink. One of my favourite dish is the pouch halibut with rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We book the table on Friday night for the birthday celebration after the covid19 measure further relaxed in Apr2022, the best time slot we can get is 5:30pm... All slots at 7pm are fully booked.
We love the salmon fillet as the fillet is fried to just make while skin is very crispy and the fillet itself is still tender and juicy.
While I told the staff we are here to celebrate the birthday, they help us deco the cake and put the candle on them, very sweet.
No need to mention the environment is awesome as it is located inside the botanic garden so we are actually surrounded by lots of green, just remember to request the outdoor table
