β β β β β Are u really a child clinic, ur operating hours are defined but u don't care to pick up the call during operating hours. Half of the time the doctor is on leave or is not available, fed up now!

β β β β β Doctor was my pd for my firstborn.
Baby born with fast breathing. But by the time she arrived, she told us that wanted to observe him even tho the breathing was stabilized and normal. We agreed. We discharged a day earlier and she kept asking us to put baby at Nicu for observation even tho for 24hrs , baby was totally fine.
A month later... When baby's jaundice levels was in 200 plus range, still told me it was fine and that we can monitor at home if we wanted. End up the next appt, baby's level shot up to 300 plus. Very dangerous. Did not explain the levels and dangers to me to make an informed decision.
Btw her clinic had a small corner that isn't closed off. So hijabi breastfeeding mummies take note. Anyone can just peep thru because it's a shared space for kids as there are toys there and is located right in front of her door. So anyone coming in and out will have a direct eyeful of u

β β β β β I stopped visiting this doctor after she criticised me for giving my older children BREAST MILK. She claimed that my child was suffering from malnutrition because I gave him breast milk instead of cow's milk. (He ate proper regular meals too btw.) Breast milk is full of nutrients and it is only natural for human beings to drink breast milk. Why would a PD think otherwise?

β β β β β Dr. Malathi was kind but not very helpful in giving practical advices. She was the 1st PD to my newborn son.
The clinic staff were not bad - reasonably kind.
Just because my baby was still gaining weights, Dr. Malathi didn't wanna do anything to alleviate the pains. I asked for the right methods to do things. But she said I knew the best as the mother and thus nothing she could add on.
For 6+mths, Dr repeated for every visit: follow mother's instinct.
Not scientific at all.
It was only my 2nd PD that gave me advices about my child's reflux, to carry upright for at least 40 minutes, and the ways for bed linens to be maintained in order to reduce dust mites that triggers my son's sensitive airway.
So I switched. I'm happier at Kids Clinic @ Punggol or, Junior Baby & Child Clinic at marine parade.
