★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was informed by the sale staff , there is gift with purchase during takashimaya sales in October 2020. The tier of gifts depend on how much purchases were made. Spent $1656 to get a 8pc gift set that is 3 month to expiry. So disappointed with a prestigious and premium brand giving away gift redemption that is near expiry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knowing Whoo being positioned as a premium brand, I'm highly disappointed in how they handle their marketing - products nearing expiry. This is what happened:
I decided to spend on my wife's birthday this year as I was notified there was a 'birthday gift' redemption. This birthday 'gift' had a condition attached - the 'gift' was CONDITIONAL UPON PURCHASE of products. This was all fine by me as I know my wife will like it.
Later on, we noticed that the conditional upon purchase 'free gift' was actually a near to expire lipstick - I got it in March 2022, but the expiry was in December 2022.
If this was the quality of the conditional upon purchase 'free' gift, I would have decided to get something else for her instead, NOT ANYTHING NEARLY EXPIRED!
As a premium brand, show some sincerity to customers! Don't use near to expire products to bait customers to spend!
How can a premium brand like Whoo do this???!!!
