Quite decent katsu sandwiches. But abit pricey at $9, $10 and $11 respectively. Hopefully the other items in the menu carry more value for money.

This shop definitely deserves 5☆stars, especially the Unagi Fry Tamago Don, it's the bomb! so nice I could eat it everyday! The service is very good. generous portion. Manager is very helpful. I accidentally paid $50 Taka Voucher for $10, and he went all the way help me get taka staff to replace for me the voucher, despite during rush hour dinner time. Food is really nice too, the sandwich for lunch. highly recommended.

Good katsu. Was gonna order the pork but cashier recommended the juicier chicken. Unique multilayered meat katsu rather than the typical fillet. Service was alright, easy enough to get their attention for refills of salad and soup. Their policy of insisting on ordering before getting a seat is slightly off putting but understandable given its setting: It's in the middle of a bustling food court. A little pricey given it's essentially a food court stall but... Orchard Road. So can't complain to much.

Chicken katsu was dry and had a weird smell to it, as if the meat has been frozen or kept for too long before it was cooked. We had to slather it in the sauce to cover up the odour. Rice was overcooked. Salad was nice, fried cheese was not bad, but didn't have the clean gooey Camembert texture, but felt more grainy. Tasted good though.

I ordered the Katsu + Unagi Fry combo. The Yuzu Katsu tasted a little dry but was decent overall. This is my first time trying fried unagi, surprisingly good. The salad that came along with the katsu was great, it matches well with the katsu and rice.

Ordered the black pepper kare katsu and the pork had a weird taste to it, definitely not fresh in my opinion. I checked out several other reviews and it seems like many other customers have the same issue. You need to drown each piece of meat in the sauce fo cover the weird taste.. Price-wise, it’s not wallet friendly too. There are many other good japanese food options nearby that are priced better and taste better. On top of bad food, the cashier / server was borderline unfriendly. Technically we are not paying for service so we shouldn’t have too high of an expectations. But would I visit again? A definite no.

Had original pork, cheese pork and ebi sets. Their katsu is made of multiple layers of very thinnly sliced meat. (Mille-feuille) But the katsu had some porky smell, a sign that the pork used is not a good pork. Also this specially made katsu cannot contain juice, so quite dry. But it is not tough to chew since the sliced meat’s very thin. The miso soups were generic taste, not bad nor unique. Rice and salads were the best part of the set. Ebi katsu was the best among the three. However I wouldnt say this is a good one either having too thick flour coating. The service was excellent tho. Service 4.5 and food 3.0

5star for service but 4star for food taste. Japanese rice was tasty, miso soup and salad were nutty. The pork though tender, had a strong pork smell and taste to it. We tried the garlic and cheese options and garlic did better. The combination with cheese was a little off and didn’t go that well with the meat.
