The Iris City Plaza - 810 Geylang Rd

My husband and I had our wedding reception and solemnization taken place at Iris @ City Plaza and it was amaazing. Everything was beautifully arranged and catered to our needs, we couldn't ask for more. The decoration was gorgeous and the food was delicious, feedbacks were great and similar too. Everyone left with satisfaction & happy faces. Thank you Mr Zaidi & Paul ??

Location is easy to find. Nearby transport. The IRIS Ballroom is spacious. They have a beautiful Swarovski lights on top of the ceiling. Great for the bride and groom to be walking down the aisle. Aircondition ballroom. All the guest says the food was awesome. Especially the ayam masak merah, nasi briyani and even the desserts was delicious. Mama Sue is very professional in handling all her clients well. She can answer most of the questions when we need. The event went smoothly thanks to her and the IRIS team. Thank you for making the event a memorable one. Overall, a great service done.

My son’s wedding was held at The Iris on 21 May 2022. I received praises from my family and friends on how beautiful the event hall turned out to be on that day. It was nicely decorated to my request and was perfectly laid out as how I imagined it to be. The neutral colour combination, chandeliers and fresh baby’s breath flowers at the dais added a grand and classy look to the whole outlook. The place have ample space to accommodate table seating for 250 guests comfortably. I did not have to worry about arrangement as it was all taken care of. Mr Zaidi Mohd and Paul listened to my requests patiently and delivered his promises. He was also accomodating to my concerns and readily shared his input and ideas with me. Liaising with the management of The Iris was a breeze and they tried their best to fulfil reasonable last-minute requests. I am impressed with the facilities/accommodation provided by The Iris. There is a comfortable dressing room for the bride & groom. There is also a prayer room with ablution area. The emcee of my event, Mr Moe, was also lively and spontaneous in running the whole event. The DJ played nice and appropriate wedding songs throughout the day. It added a lively mood and atmosphere to my occasion. I would also like to commend on the buffet spread and quality of food. Food was almost level to a “hotel service” standard. They had waiters/servers ensuring smooth running of the buffet. My guests looked comfortable and I felt happy seeing my guests helping themselves to second servings. There was also a variety of hot and cold drinks available for my guests. Thank you very much, The Iris. Overall, I am happy & satisfied with the services provided. I would recommend anyone holding their big day at The Iris!

The food, service and ambiance is excellent. Mama sue the wedding planner is interactive and awesome. Highly recommended.

The wedding venue is great and spacious. The decor is very beautiful. The coordinators are even better. Fast and prompt with their service and attending to queries. Very patient and accommodating to the many changes and personal requests made. The food's good too. Definitely a great place to choose for your dream wedding. Have actually recommended to many.

Hosted our wedding at Iris because we loved the budget-friendly packages, beautiful decor and delicious catering. Obviously having a post-pandemic wedding has its own challenges but alhamdulilah, Obek Zaidi and his team ensured that everything went as smoothly as possible. They constantly updated us on the govt regulations and gave planning templates so that we could prepare ourselves. Obek Zaidi was especially helpful in setting aside time to meet us and answering all our queries from us and our families. We loved that Iris has a more modern and minimalistic dais while still maintaining a feeling of grandeur and elegance. The lights were also “customisable” based on our itinerary and request. The bridal room and prayer rooms also had ablution areas ? We had our wedding from 9am to 8:30pm. Alhamdulilah, there was no stale food despite the 12hr long event. Food was also definitely more on the spicy side, which is perfect ? We also left our mirror signage and easel at Iris. Nice place for a wedding. Perfect for a comfortable group of around 200 pax or so, with good air conditioning and decorations, lighting is soothing for the eyes and it plays an important role in setting the ambiance. Food is good, the briyani set is nice. Place can be a bit difficult to get to but if you drive its easier. Happy to be here the second time!
