โ โ โ โ โ Had an interesting evening at the Macallan Experience at Raffles Hotel Arcade this evening, as well as trying a couple of drams of the Macallan Double Cask 12 years and the Macallan Sherry Oak 12 years. Did not know prior to this that the casks were made of American and Spanish oak, and take up to 6 years to make and mature, before they can be used.
Also had the chance to see some rare and vintage whisky in lovely Lalique bottles.

โ โ โ โ โ Enjoyed The Macallan experience at Raffles Hotel with its multi-sensorial exhibits including a short film whilst tasting 3 distinct distillates by Macallan. The bar is a nice place to chill with friends and loved ones before adjourning to the gift shop area to pick up preferred labels or glassware to be enjoyed in the comfort of your home or during gatherings.
