Lovely place with large carpark

Good looking building but small facilities and not so luxury finishing and material used. Many security people but not so hard working especially at night time. Sleeping at the front desk or reading books or playing with mobile phones. Anyway good location apartment.

Great location, amenties & conectivity.

Poorly managed condo. Terrible security policy requiring proximity cards. You cannot access your unit unless you have the card, and it only goes to your floor, carpark or ground. Replacements are costly. Hamstrings residents so neighbours cannot visit each others' floors unless buzzed in, which is super inconvenient and inconveniences visiting guests. Meanwhile, cl3aners and construction workers roam freely. Lift balancing policy sucks. There are ample lifts but they are programmed to stick on top and middle floors while only one lift goes to serve ground floor even at peak hours. Leads to substantial bottlenecks at ground and carpark lift lobbies while lifts are idle at top. Unnecessary renovation of lift lobbies, looking suspiciously like priming so as to use up sinking fund. When p eople are moving in, absurd policy allows one lift to be programmed to go only from b1 to residents floor but still picks up confused residents on the way up and down, trapping them in a nightmare loop. The management does not have residents' interest at heart. The guards are nice and kind.

Modern apartments with gorgeous views of the city from the upper levels. Suits couples and families well.

9th floor facility deck. Gym, kid playground, kid pool, lap pool, BBQ pit. Adjacent to Rochester mall. Visitor have to pay for parking

Beware this car park if you drive. The entrance is tiny and hidden away. The directions inside are weird and unusual and there are numerous pillars and blind corners. The sign leading into the entrance is not obvious enough. The exit has a huge bump just after you turn right. Your view of the road, other cars and pedestrians will be blocked by the huge pillars on each side. The design on the ground simply makes one confused. It’s also weird when you exit right and as soon as you do, encounter an extremely sharp bump. You won’t have time to align your wheels to go over the hump properly. Although the car park is large and spacious there are extremely low kerbs in many areas of the car park. These are not very noticeable unless you take special note of them. It makes me feel almost claustrophobic which is weird. Very rare for me. What this means is it protects the walls and pillars of the car park because you’ll kerb your rims before you get too close the walls and pillars. No doubt a security and cost-saving measure for better aesthetics, but not great for they are really low almost not visible to the driver and if you’re new to the car park. Or if you have costly rims. Be warned that there are numerous such invisible kerbs littered throughout the car park protecting the pillars and walls once you enter at the entrance.

The Rochester Residences is a relatively a good to live, work, play and relax. Sheltered walk way to Buona Vista MRT and Star Vista Mall. It is also within walking distance to One North Business Park developed for the R&D and high technology cluster, comprising biomedical sciences, info comm technology (ICT) and media industries.
