We took our 4 year old to the ABC of Climbing workshop at Rock School this afternoon and had a really great experience. The instructors were very supportive of the kids and my usually shy son was able to trust them immediately and did very well. The facilities are great as well with an indoor bouldering area and an large outdoor wall. Before we went, we thought the 2 hour session might be a bit too much for him, given it was his first time climbing, but he enjoyed every minute and is keen to sign up for regular lessons Highly recommended

My family and I headed down to enquire about the lessons. I just needed some answers since the phone wasn’t picking up, which I can understand. Did I not expect such an attitude? Don’t need the service since we are not yet a paying customer? The trainer couldn’t be bothered even when we were already waiting in the center. The shocking part - is my son wore his shoes to the gym. The trainer responded sternly β€œno shoes here, please (heavy tone).” Angsty. I thought that place was for kids? Erm, not exactly child friendly.

My 4 year old boy had a really good time! He was initially afraid to go, but with the lower walls, cute shaped rocks like dinosaurs trains animals, padded ground, full Aircon, tunnels for little kids to play, he was dashing around even before class started. We registered for 1h rock tots class for $28 and it was pretty appropriate for first time 4yo. The class has warm up, 3 main games with tunnel play time interspersed, and cool down. Game one was to have child climb to reach the soft toys placed at various heights. Game two was to straddle the wall side ways, touching the number or alphabet rocks, and even bonus round thru hulahoop. Game three was hide and seek. It was delivered really well so it kept the kids engaged. He wanted to continue climbing even after 1h class ended. Thanks for sparking an interest in my kid, we'll try camp.hero next!

Good place for toddlers wanting to try out rock climbing. Set missions to make it interesting for kids to gain rock climbing skills. The place is clean too. You can smell Dettol once you step in. My son enjoyed his session with Instructor Bethany. Will go again
