Thomson Wellth (Medical and Aesthetic Clinic) - 290 Orchard Rd

Appointment for health screening at paragon level 19. Fasting since midnight. My appointment was set at 8:45am upon arrival the registration was chaotic and messy. Waited for almost 1.5 hours before I was being called to draw blood. No point informing them which package you choose, the information did not pass down to the team. Over the phone they said ok noted with your selection, yet on the day at the counter, they did not know the choices I’ve communicated.

I finally come back to Thomson for my health screening after many years of going to my company appointed provider last few years. I was quite disappointed with their service now as compared to those years I visited when it was located in Thomson medical. I was there 9.50. The wait for registration take more than 30 mins. Greeting was very cold. They don't even smile and greet you properly. Nurse who took my blood asked me what additional test I wanted. I asked her what other tests they have and can introduce to me. She said they have many and stopped there. Very sad this place is very transactional now, I can't find any true human concern for my well being. The warm and love is gone. This is an honest review. All my kids and grand child were born in Thomson Medical and I know that this is not what Thomson stands for. After writing above review, I started looking at other reviews. I am not surprised by so many bad reviews. It is already 11.36 and I only did my blood test. Have not seen Dr yet. What a waste of time.

I would give ZERO Star if this system allows! It's been a month since my health screening with Thomson Wellth and to date, I am still waiting for my report and CD with scans to be mailed to me so I can follow up with my gynae. I have called the clinic several times but nobody answered. I have emailed but nobody replied. The last time I emailed and called to chase for my doctor's review appointment and soft copy report several times, I met with the same MIA response. Then when their staff nurse, Charmaine Lin, finally emailed me, she rudely stated that it required 14 working days, as if they had informed me during my visit at the clinic or had picked up the phone to inform me??!! Their phone lines don't even have a voice message system, simply rang on till it cut off the lines on its own. Customer service not on their radar at all.

Very poor customer experience. Waiting time is way too long. Granted its a Friday in December, I sat for more than 1.5 hour since arriving at 9.15am before anything was done. I spent over 4 hours there when actual consultation and tests took no more than 45 minutes. I suggest the Operations manager look at optimising the process from customer's point of view. Track what each customer is doing from the moment they enter the centre until they leave. Design a process that optimises internal resources and customer experience. If there is capacity constraint, then do not schedule so many customers.

This was my third visit to the clinic. Ms Mae was most helpful and polite and she went out of her way to help me get my Sinopharm vaccination done today as I could not make it for the scheduled appointment two weeks later. The entire experience was very pleasant and the soothing ambience of the clinic certainly helped to allay my anxiety. The nurse who administered the vaccination was friendly and gentle too. Highly recommend this gem of a clinic for their outstanding customer service.

Appointment for blood test was made at 9am. When reached, was told that time in morning was reserved for health screening. Made me wait for one and half hours. They should have arranged my appointment to be after their routine health screening time. In addition, the 2 test reports were not ready or emailed when due. Can’t get them on the phone line, went down personally to collect, until today I have yet to receive my second report. Too much trouble to chase them on the phone or go down in person. Will go to other clinics to save time, effort and money.

It was my first experience dealing with Thomson Wellth Clinic at Paragon and it was indeed a very pleasant one even though the feeling of getting vaccinated due to covid seemed to be initially fraught with a lot of uncertainties. However, the staff had made it a lot more bearable as the entire process fr online registration of interest, to arranging for the appointment, actual day registration, down to the final stage of payment was a breeze! All the staff were very polite & helpful, and the nurse who was administering the vaccine on me was very professional and reassuring: she had been very thorough in explaining salient aspects of the vaccine such as the possible side effects and the do’s and don’ts, etc. The staff who acted as the time keeper for monitoring patients after they have taken their vaccine, was also very kind to reiterate what the vaccine nurses had informed us earlier and I deeply appreciate the reminders she has given out to me. I would highly recommend Thomson wellth clinic to other patients as they have indeed live up to their reputation of being a trusted choice with a wealth of medical experiences! Clinic ambiance was soothing, spacious and very bright but not overly “clinically white”. It was also scented with a fragrance that has a feminine note to it. It has definitely defied the conventional standards of public clinics & hospitals. Please continue to keep up the marvellous effort!

The location is great at Paragon Medical Center, I came here for my annual medical check up and they do provide extensive health check up for both man and ladies all within their premises. The doctor can be a little pushy on asking you to go for an extensive heart scan before the medical check is done.
