β β β β β Patience, and not pushy for additional medical charges doctor. He only recommend what is needed.
Both of my children of age 10 years gap, are cared and delivered by Dr. Woo by natural birth.
Please expect to wait if you missed your appointment time, as all the patients are very puntucal, and he will need to go for delivery at times.
He is the only gynae (doctor) in the clinic.

β β β β β Firstly let me start with, the clinic claimed they open at 9am. I was there a couple of mins before to ensure I was attended to early. The lady at the reception entered the outlet at 9:02am and locked the door behind her. I patiently waited outside for another 10 mins till I had to pop my head close to the glass door to ask if they were going to open. She then unlocked the door and said βpregnancy ah?!β. I was totally taken aback with the way I was spoken to, given I had infact visited with some general questions. She then goes on to tell me the doctor is only going to be in at 10:30. All in a rather rude and condescending manner. Itβs a pity I have to write off the clinic based on my experience with the receptionist. But such unprofessionalism is definitely going to ensure I donβt return. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY TO A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

β β β β β I had a very bad experience with Thomson Womenβs Clinic (Tiong Bahru), during my night visit.
During the waiting period, I was observing how the small built short hair lady attending to patient and handing incoming calls. I heard her talking very loud, rude and very impatience about one of the abortion case. I was so shock as all this information should be kept and handle in a profession manner.
She also slams the phone and start scolding foul language. I was so shock and stunt, almost have a heart attack in the clinic. I
I thought, I was at the debtβs Collection Company or kind of Loan Shark Company and not a specialist clinic.
She seems to dislike this job or she was really unhappy with this organisation. And she does not like to attend to walk in without appointment patients. She will ask in this way βWHAT TIME IS YOUR APPOINTMENT?β If walk-in to enquire and they are non-local, she will look down on them and act to be rude professional clinic assistance. (e.g non-local couple came for their first consultation and do not know their system well. She will shout to them βDO NOT STAND THERE, COME OVER TO DO REGISTRATIONβ).
When she did her dispensing of medications the whole clinic can her what kind of problem this patient is having and she explain how to take or push the medicine from below loud and clear for everyone to know. Last but not least she loves to slam the door when she goes to the washroom.
I do not understand why this specialist clinic will hire someone from the debt collection company as clinic assistance?
Really hope that when I come back will not encounter the same experience again.

β β β β β 1st (2010) 2nd (2014) 3rd (2016) 4th(2019) all delivered by Dr Woo.. yes a man of few words.. but he said what needed to be said and what I need to know. Answered all my questions with calmness.. Tho I moved house after baby no 2 I still look for him.. cos this is the kind of doctor I want during labour... Someone who knows what he is doing.
As for the front office staff ,they are actually very down to earth and friendly..

β β β β β I call this clinic sometime in June 2021, my intention is to schedule an appointment for my daughter-in-law.
I was strongly recommended by my colleague saying that there was a long hair nurse and she was very good and patient. My colleague gave me the number to call and make an appointment as she was attended by this long hair nurse many years back during her pregnancy.
I called during one of the evenings this month, at fist everything was fine but when I asked her if there is a long hair nurse in the clinic? Her response was, NO you call other clinics, and she just hang-off the phone. I was puzzled why am I being treated in this way?
Why this organization will hire such a staff. My question is there anything wrong with my question? I just wanted to ensure that my daughter-in-law will be attend by this long hair nurse. Since my colleague had high praising for this long hair nurse.
If I am able to give, I will give zero star to this clinic and this rude staff who pick-up my call.

β β β β β Called in for an ultrasound appointment yesterday, managed to secure a next day appointment. Advice on ultrasound preparation was given clearly by staff.
Went for Ultrasound just now, Dr Woo and his team were friendly. The procedure was quick and smooth, received the report within 10 minutes.
Charges was reasonable. Recommended
