I went to THRIVE Learning Centre to improve my chinese in secondary 3. I was very reluctant initially to learn the subject as I was very bad at it. However, after going to my first trial lesson here, my perspective of learning immediately changed. I would like to personally thank Ms Heng for her patience and guidance to help me in our meaningful tuition classes weekly. After going there for about a month or two and sitting for my examinations, my grades were already improving. I'm happy to say that I improved greatly from a borderline C6 to a B3 in my chinese O level examinations. I definitely have no regrets joining THRIVE Learning Centre and I strongly recommend joining it.

I spent nearly 4 years with THRIVE, from secondary 3 to JC2. The lessons have definitely helped me build the necessary foundations for mathematics, and pushed me beyond. I used to find math extremely daunting, but my time with THRIVE has trained me to become more confident even in the face of challenging questions. Mr Heng is also a very approachable teacher, and his warmth has helped me open up and voice my questions more easily. He pays close attention to the different learning needs of each student and ensures that his teaching is able to accommodate every one of them. His teaching methods help students draw links between different concepts, and between theory and applications in reality. This helped me develop deeper understanding and appreciation of the subject. My math showed tremendous improvement from an F9 in my school A-math tests to an A for H2 Math in the A Levels! I would not have been able to do so without the support THRIVE has given me. Thank you very much!! :D I enjoyed my time there a lot, and highly recommend THRIVE to anyone who is looking to improve their grades in a calm and welcoming environment. :)
