If I'm craving for Chicken Rice and nearby, this one can lah, just make do with it. Or else there is another lagi best Ah Five chicken rice near Mayflower Hawker Centre that is worth the trip. I'm still wondering why this stall deserves that Michelin Bib Gourmand award? It's regular Chicken Rice. Chilli is standard, ginger sauce has no punch, Rice not fragrant, chicken is heavily doused with sesame oil and seasoning. So where is the x factor? Perhaps they taste better at the original stall? ? Overall they taste good, but not worth the trip to rush over to buy or bring the whole family. They would need to convince the customers that its worth the Michelin award if they want to survive.

Decent plate of chicken rice although I don't know how it got its Michelin bib gourmand title. At most, its marginally better than the usual coffee shop offering. Chicken was decent but rice wasn't flavourful enough. The plus part was the price, from $3.50 onwards.

Chicken rice was decent for sure. But only decent like a good plate of chicken rice you would find in the hawker or coffee shop. Nothing exceptional about this, definitely not some Michelin star chicken rice.

Is this a Michelin stall? In my humble opinion, there's nothing to shout about. This is a $4 dish. Cashier tried to upsell me the $5 portion. "More meat", she said. I said no. I'd try a $4, chicken breast dish and compare apple to apple. Verdict: there are at least 3-4 stalls nearby which I think has better chicken rice than here. I'm not saying it's not good. It's ok. But nothing for me to proclaim it's a Michelin stall.

I am a fan of chicken rice and seriously this didn’t meet my cut… Stumbled upon this while I was looking for chee cheong fun and decided to try it. The brand name and the Michelin tag got my expectations up a notch. But the first taste of the rice ruined the experience. The rice had a nice color to it but was frankly quite tasteless. So I moved on to the meat, but alas, the meat was quite tasteless as well though the skin was tender and smooth. All in, I was not impressed and wondered whether the reps from Michelin really knows how to eat. Perhaps it was not a local who gave these reviews. Think I will patronize the usual Hong Ji BKT stall in my next trip instead

Came to try after knowing it was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand Singapore! Adore the fragrant and fluffy rice and their signature Steamed Chicken which is supposedly soaked in ice water after cooking to keep the meat tender and juicy. You must eat with their tangy chilli sauce and savoury ginger sauce for the best experience.

Tried this Michelin Bib Gourmet Chicken Rice stall in AMK. Rice was fluffy and full of chicken flavour. The chicken was juicy and tender, tasted better with their light soy sauce. Their ginger and chilli sauce gave additional flavour to it too. Definitely worth to try, if you are within this area.

Bought two different plates of chicken rice, roasted and steamed chicken, and a plate of Thai style tofu. The staff weren’t particularly kind, but still bearable. The taste is nice but not Michelin star fantastic, the sauces to make the food tastier, but nonetheless, this is a comfort food. Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price: ? This place allows delivery, but if you were to eat there, they only accept cash (or CDC voucher - 2022).
