Local breakfast. Options of traditional toasts/thick toasts or soft buns set that comes with 2 soft boiled eggs and a drink. If looking for something heavier they also have options like laksa, chicken curry, etc. There now is also the option of multigrain bread! Very fast and efficient. Casual place for a good dose of local breakfast.

The worst staff ever. Today 7 June 2022, the cashier guy was very rude and dumb, ruined my mood in the morning. Answering with one word when I asked, not explaining even a bit, and no manner. I didn’t hear his answer once and the second time I asked the same question, he answered rudely, “I said that already”. I asked another different question, and he pretended didn’t hear my question, and his colleague answered my question because he was standing besides him doing her job, which was not her responsibility to answer me. Such an idiot and rude person in this place. I wish I can give 0 star instead of one.

Work around the area and came to toastbox multiple times in the morning to takeaway breakfast. The guy who makes drinks is super efficient and fast, the auntie who makes toast always super slow (zero urgency even though peak hour, you can see she really takes her time). If only they had 2 people doing the toast instead.

Sat 915am 6.5.22 This Toast Box outlet is the cleanest I've been to but more impressively the counter staff are polite, accommodating and helpful beyond the usual run-of-the-mill service one has come to expect from franchised outlets. There is a steady stream of customers and queue. I did not notice any impatience or irritation amongst the staff. Kudos to the people working in this outlet!

I am only commending on teh-o, half boiled eggs, and kaya butter toast. Teh-o is very plain and not sweet despite adding sugar. I spilled the drink in the picture attached as the table was unstable. Half-boiled eggs - the eggs are overcooked. Their competitor (Yakun) differentiated themselves by serving high quality and perfectly cooked yet. Yakun also helps to crack the eggs instead of letting customers doing it ourselves and dirty our hands. Kaya butter toast - kind of pathetic looking but taste is ok.

First visit to this outlet. Friendly and attentive staff who gave me and extra stool for me to place my shopping bags. Also brought me the take-away food while I dined in. The Xmas brownie is quite good...as I an looking for sweet which is not too rich and not too sweet.

Always friendly staff despite the maddening volume of customers they see in a day. Friendly in Singapore is different from friendly in another country. So don’t go expecting American friendly. ?. The service is always quick. The food dependable. Comfort food. The one downstairs opposite the Muji store is a better bet. Smaller but warmer and cozier.

Is there a need to write food reviews for toast box? No. Is there a need to highlight exemplary services for a household name with many toast box outlets? Yes. I find it really amazing that the staff members on duty on31 mar 5+ pm were quite a coordinated bunch. They were friendly and helped with our orders but what's notable was how they handled unreasonable customers professionally when a group of 4 (2 middle aged + 2 elderly) apparently wished to storm in to chop seats and even hurled nasty comments in Cantonese but the staff still remained unfazed and still attempted to resolve the matter. I would have simply left them stranded so kudos. Hope to shed some light on some good services which is sorely lacking in SG ( as compared to other countries like Japan) On the food. Toast box. Please for convenience sake jus crack the egg for us the way yakun does it or at least offer that option. Or provide tissue so if eggs get into our fingers we can wipe it...
