★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant was very crowded during Good Friday lunch service. Most tables have more than five diners and the service crew and robots have some issues trying to cope.
Had to ask about our orders twice and waited over 25 minutes for the first set of ingridents to be served. The kiddo lost patience waiting and we ended up have to find something from the condiments counter to feed the cranky kiddo.
The friendly service crew attempted service recovery and waived off the charges for some items we ordered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh ingredients and the soup based was flavourful. Selected the Mala and the chicken mushroom soup. Side track a bit… the parking at 313 somerset is rather exp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the chicken and tomato soup bases. Ordered the famous prawn paste, fish slices, mushroom meat balls, tofu, vegetables etc. It was overall a yummy meal. Service was over zealous, we felt that they can tone down a bit. Towards the end, they gave us a fruit platter and some door gifts (a comb and a pair of chopsticks) to thank us for patronising. As it was my friend's birthday, they gave her a rainbow cake. That was a thoughtful gesture. :)

Staffs seems short-handed after 12mn.
Price has went up too, is not cheap for HDL nowadays in Singapore.
Overall food is fresh and good.

Very interesting experience. People around us were celebrating birthdays. Very relaxed place. The food was good too. On weekends you should pre-book

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having hotpot is always comforting during a rainy day. Their food was worth the wait, quality beef, pork, seafood, vegetables, etc. Flavour of the broth was very good and authentic. Cosy, relaxing ambience was perfect for group gatherings with friends and family. Prompt and attentive service delivered by their staffs, always checking on us regularly. Definitely one of our favourite place to satisfy our mala hotpot cravings.
