Tong Fong Fatt Hainanese Chicken Rice - 16 Bedok S Rd

Bought 3 packets of $2.50 chicken rice for my kids at Blk 16 Bedok market. I have to repeat twice to say I wanted the $2.50 chicken rice and the stall assistant repeated $3.50 until I have to tell him again no it’s $2.50. When chicken rice was passed to me, given only 2 packets of chili sauce which is fine since my kids don’t take much chili. I asked for black sauce, given only 1 packet. I said I bought 3 packets can I have 1 more black sauce, the stall assistant then said I ordered the $2.50 one can only have 1 packet of black sauce!!!! There were times I ordered 1 whole chicken and there were times I ordered 20 packets of chicken rice depending on different requirements. All customers should be treated equal regardless of their orders. Few packets of sauce also so 看不开！

Ordered chicken rice, He asked $5? I said no need, just normal. And he's rude and came a plate of 5pcs flat chicken slice. This stall is a cheat. Go eat other food. So what has prime minister photo. ????????

Man chopping chicken is very very rude…. not worth to spend a cent here, as if we owe him $$

This morning am the first customer to patronise the stall. The chopper told me it will be opened at 9.30am. But not ready till 10am. Waited for half an hour or more. The chopper take my order and l told the stall assistant to give me a bigger packet of chilli instead the tiny little packet as not to waste too many plastic bags. No heed at all.Everything was ready and the SA give me 4 packets of chilli which are double the size of the small packet. So ask for more packet of chilli and give me just another packet. I told the SA that we have 10 packets of chicken rice and 1 whole chicken with 2 extra quarter chicken how to share the 5 packets of chilli. I told him off that if l needs to pay extra for the chilli please let me know. Dont deprives us eating chicken rice without much chilli. If you people like chicken rice please go to Whampoa food centre(not Loy Kee) . The couple there really friendly and their chicken tasted much better . If possible DONT support TFFH. Afterall many other chicken rice there at Bedok South Blk 16 too !

Bought half a chicken to go from this stall yesterday. Threw it away when we were about to eat it at home. Seriously, you guys can just call it a day and close up for good. Kovan stall attitude problem and chicken not nice at all. This one takes the cake. Half chicken can only get 4 packs of rice. This is the 1st I heard from any chicken rice stall all over the island in all my 40+ yrs in SG. And the half chicken is not a propper HALF Chicken but from pre-cut parts on display. The worst part was the chicken smelled foul. Very bad odour when we opened the foam box. Avoid this chain of chicken rice at all costs.

Super dishonest seller. When taking order, straight away ask me want $4.50 or $5.50. So I ordered $4.50 one and when i took a clearer look at their price list, they only have $3.50 and $4.50 one. Such a disgrace that you guys need to resort to such dirty tactic. Please be careful when ordering and best is not to patron them cose there are better chicken rice else where. Shameful!

It shocked me to see that they have such a low rating on google. Tried this stall for more than 10 times and the uncles are usually very friendly and will engage in small talks with you, especially in the morning. Pricewise is definitely not the cheapest for the portion, but the quality and flavourful sauce is right there! You pay for what you get! Will continue to support one of my fav chicken rice stall :)

Chicken rice is not bad, just a little "salty"... Uncle there at BLK 16 bedok south seem "not honest" with prices charge even have no proof but just have the feeling that they seem to charge u the higher price set than the lower price show... (For instance, there is $2.50 n $3.50 price shown on the store but when u order, they will "auto" give u the $3.50 one instead of asking u ur preferable price)... No chicken rice set even thou displayed pic show "the set"... Two person set @ $11.00 thou include rice for two... (Update on 13mar 2022), now set for two become $13.00 n "lesser chicken" n really salty... Not so recommended. There another store that sell chicken rice in this hawker centre way better taste n staff way friendly, try that please ...
