★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my preferred rojaks is “Tong’s Rojak” at Kaki Bukit Market & Food Centre (Blk 511 Bedok North, #01-20). Besides being well-balanced and not too sweet, this hawker adds cut chilli padi if you want yours spicy. Love the fresh heat it imbues the sauce that coats the pieces of apple, pineapple, turnip, cucumber, blanched beansprouts, smoky grilled beancurd puffs and fried dough sticks. Sometimes, I add a century egg into the mix as well.
