Aliff Nasi Lemak - 511 Bedok North Street 3

One of the more decent nasi lemak's I've tasted in Singapore. The sambal is rich and spicy (not too sweet). The rice is not too "coconutty". The fried chicken is very crispy and so is the ikan bills. $3.50 for a basic set plate with an "ikan selar" (fried fish) + fried chicken wing + ikan bilis. Simple, authentic, and relatively value-for-money compared to more popular Nasi Lemak's in SG. $3.50 for decent Nasi Lemak in 2020 Singapore, that's pretty damn good value if you ask me. In short, you won't be disappointed.

Not sure if today (29 Jul 2021) was an off/messed up day or what, but it was a really disappointing pack of nasi lemak. Finally tried it after my friend had been raving about it to me for months. Rice - I found it totally not fragrant at all. Chilli - also cannot make it...... I've had those cold factory mass packed $2 nasi lemak that had better rice and chilli. Fried egg - tasted over cooked until a bit rubbery Chicken wings - crispy but lacked flavour. Got a hint of the typical Malay seasoning, that yellowish spices, but it was just a hint of it. Begedil - ok lah, nothing to shout about. Otak - again quite tasteless. Overall verdict - won't be back again. really don't understand why people queue for this. There are lots of better nasi lemak places around.

Best Nasi Lemak I have eaten in Singapore. A bit pricey but worth it. Just look at the queue...

I had been frequently this nasi lemah since the present owner'son. The taste and service is the excellent ? the price is reasonable ? except now they have more items to add with the nasi lemah. The quality and quantity is still the same. Keep up

One of the popular nasi lemak stall in this area, there always a long queue during dinner time.paid SGD$4.90 for my meal which consisted of fried chicken wing, egg, ikan billis as well as a bergedil. Food was alright to me. Fried chicken wing was really crispy and flavourful. One thing that I didnt really was the consistency of pricing, paid lesser for the same items i ordered not too long ago.

3+ stars. Food quality: Chilli is sweet. Chicken fried with typical flavour / oil like many other stalls selling Malay food. Yellow fish and anchovies can’t go wrong. Definitely can taste some lemak in the rice. Food portion / Price: Reasonably priced at $3.5 for chicken and yellow fish. Portions are average. Crowd: Always a long queue especially during lunch hours. Payment: Cash only.
