Very enjoyable teppanyaki. Toshi, the chef, is very charismatic and explains details about the dishes, their origins and more as he serves the different dishes. He also pokes fun as his wife does the serving and jokingly throws him warning looks to behave.. Seating is intimate and speed of service is pretty good, especially with the introduction of additional help in the kitchen in the form of their new employee, Lawrence. Menu mostly changes month to month, with tweaks made based on the item availability. Quality of ingredients is high and very delicious. I liked my experience so much I immdiately made another reservation. Reservations definitely recommended in advance.

Food was average at best, service was pretty slow. But what I was absolutely horrified by was that they reused the bread that was served with the beef, for their garlic toast. (Instruction was not to eat the bread when the beef was served, they took all our slices back, helper slaps on garlic butter, bread slices went back on the grill) How would I know if the toast I was served was my returned bread? Or was I having someone else's leftovers? Also, how disgusting was it to have everyone's leftover bread go back onto the common grill? In normal times, I would have been grossed out but with COVID lingering, it's crazy this was done. For the price we paid, I was definitely not signing up for this. It was an absolute disappointment. Also the chef was maskless the whole time I was there, talking over the counter and coughing with mouth uncovered. This place really needs to relook at their food handling and hygiene processes.

Amazing sister restaurant of Teppan Works on Tras St. Chefs are super friendly and will make slight adjustments to the menu if necessary for dietary restrictions. Teppan is amazing! The beef was well marbled and melts in your mouth. The seafood was lovely and fresh. Every dish is explained as it is served and they are currently only offering an Omakase menu which is more then enough to feed a hungry adult. Definitely worth a visit - currently only open for dinner and highly recommended to make a reservation prior!

Great spot to catch up with friends over a quality meal. Lovely ambiance and extremely friendly staff who make you laugh, feel at ease and welcomed. They remember their regulars preferances and are able to adjust the menu to suit. Solid line up, my faves were the starter of ika with ikura in shirako cream, fatty bonito with ponzu ice, the housemade sesame mochi, A5 miyazaki, okonomiyaki and the ice cream. Sesame mochi is made in house and served with a spot of wasabi. Texture is silky smooth, soft and jiggly with a nice bite to it. The seared surface gives off an aromatic roasted fragrance of sesame. I don't usually like mochi because of its starchiness.. but I definitely love this. The A5 miyazaki served with raw egg yolk and also the cubed ribeye versions were both perfection. If I could order a custom set for this, I'd like 5 slices of the Miyazaki beef, a bowl of rice with the yolk sitting on top, served with natto, a bit of wasabi and spring onions! The okonomiyaki could have done with a little less dressing but overall this is really good and I could easily eat another plate. My lamb was a tad over seasoned and overcooked. This and the cooked oysters (I prefer them raw) were my least favourite items from the list of dishes served. The shell wafer used with the ice cream is light and melts in your mouth, definitely something you don't come across often. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and the warm welcoming personal touch sets this dining experience apart. Would definitely recommend and be returning here often. Would prefer a counter seat to get in on all the cooking action especially the flambé of the beef.
