★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got in bright and early, short queue, ordered the $4 black carrot cake with chili. Friendly uncle, with the auntie behind the wok. This is what I call harmony of the texture and taste. I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pls school no frills carrot cake operated by a senior couple. Stall is ready for operations as early 6am in the morning. The carrot cake is fried perfectly with a crispy egg omelette and soft and delicious radish fillings. The radish cake are bought from an supplier and not homemade(as of most fried carrot cake these days) but still nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried one of the 2 stalls inside 89 Machperson market and food centre that serves fried carrot cake. This stall is on the row that face the shophouses. There was already a long queue when i was there. They served both black and white fried carrot cake and prices starts from SGD$3 onward. waiting time of at least 20mins is expected.
Carrot cake was nicely fried, exterior was crispy and inside was moist. The carrot cake cube were aroma, probably due to generosity of the preserved turnip added. I have not had such a delicious plate of fried carrot cake in a while. Would want to come back again in the future to try the black version.
