★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mar 2020. I always wanted to eat at this stall, it disappointed me umpteen times for closing on me when i was here.
It's whacky name (胡须老) and usual long queue caught my attention.
Today i was lucky to be able to try it. I ordered 油鸡面 and 水饺汤, both at $3 each.
This time it didn't disappoint. The noodle was tangly and springy with tender chicken cut. The 水饺 were small, and it made up the number by serving 5 in a bowl.
The only complaint was the tamed chilli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today is the last day of operation for the original owners. They are handing over to their niece. I’m glad to catch them one last time! Super tender soya chicken breast, tangy chilli and chewy noodles... I will certainly miss them!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best soya sauce chicken in Singapore. Better than top Cantonese restaurants in taste imho. The price is amazing also. Even if you takeaway and reheat, the taste and texture is still great. Humble and efficient uncle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To me it's one of the best though some might disagree as the colour is lighter and the taste is not as complex as some with rose water etc... This is a simple, super tender Soy Sauce Chicken, which I don't mind eating the breast even, simply love it! But sadly they are retiring soon, heard their nephew will take over. Hopefully the taste would be the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem! Legit HK noodles prepared by a quirky uncle who remembers your order by heart. I think for regulars he even knows their usual order. I upsized the soya sauce chicken noodles to $4 (more chicken meat and veggies), and for $1.20 more you can get a bowl of soup with 3 pieces of wanton. The noodles have a nice springy ‘qq’ texture. Be prepared to wait a bit (approx 20 mins for me, depends on the queue) but in return you get a super satisfying meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality is there, always a long queue. The uncle has good memory and would take a few orders at one shot and the orders come out in batches.
Update 20 Dec 2021: New owners and taste is almost the same. But hygiene and process wise can improve. Guy use his hands to pick/cook noodle and do payment. Gal has took wrong orders and only process one or 2. I remember the uncle can remember a couple of special orders.
