... I was just charged $0.50 for a cup of Kopi O kosong at this wet Sunday morning at Telok Blangah Crescent Food Centre, when most places are charging $0.80 to $1.00. It’s an old food centre manned by many first and second generation stall holders which rental I believed are still kept at the old rates.
Who says cost of living cannot be kept low, if rental rates at our local food centres can be kept low and not outsourced to the big corporations at market rates.
