I am totally pissed. We accepted and signed the quotation. Agreed on a date of installation. I even confirmed that deposit is to be paid on First Day of Work, i.e. Installation Date. Few days before Installation date, he called to say cannot because I did not do he MA approval submission (which he agreed to do it) and need to reschedule. I later checked with my neighbour (which we approached Unishade together). She said her Installation Date had been reschedule to mine Installation Date. After that no follow-up from them. I have to call them to chase. They had not do anything since then. Finally we agreed on a new Date of Installation. 1 week before he asked for deposit payment. The amount is more than the 40% stated in contract. I also enquired why in advance and not Installation Date (the First Day of Work) as confirmed by them last time. 2 days later, he just messaged and said he is not taking up my job due to personal reason. When I called him, he said the same and then said because I did not pay deposit. I have no comment on the work quality as I have not seen it. But the service really bad.

Came back to them a second time to extend my 1st floor roofing. Workers are fast and professional, waterproofing very well done. Good pricing and able to accommodate to my requirements. Highly recommended!

Installed outdoor roller blinds and shelter in December 2020. All was well - work was done promptly, as promised. Sales person was really good (unfortunately he is no longer working with Uni Shades). Eight months later, the wire guide cable which guides the roller blind started to fray. Uni Shades changed one side. However a couple of weeks later, the other side also frayed. They then strangely quoted me $250 to repair this, saying "things will get spolit after use, can't be alright forever". It seems, to me, illogical to use the "wear and tear" argument. I put this down to inexperience in terms of design. Clearly the design is not able to handle the weight of the roller blind and weather (wind). I leave you to judge, dear reader, whether this is reasonable to expect from a consumer's perspective. Sure, nobody expects things to be "alright forever" - but after just 8 months? I can accept poor design and mistakes as long as service providers are professional and reasonable about solving problems, especially within a warranty period. Uni Shades have not honoured their warranty, are not able or not willing to solve problems, and they do not stand by their work.

Love my new polycarbonate shelter. Uni Shades Pte ltd did a great job on this installation. Thanks Bob and Conan! I want a place to store water to water my plants and they install this pipe for me! PERFECT! And they design the shelter such that to make sure the water do not get to my neighbour’s place. Very thoughtful indeed… thank you very much! Highly recommended.
