Valour Primary School - 49 Punggol Central

Looks more like Valour polytechnic, its so huge. It actually has 2 playgrounds and a nice little pond. Valour pri sch is probably the most happening pri sch as it is a 2 mins walking distance to a luxury waterway point, waterway and mrt. The only major con is the narrow entrance walkway and its parents waiting area.

School is ok but the YMCA student care absolutely sucks! My son has been complaining about how the teachers always shout at them, especially a Ms Syuhadah. YMCA has not enough staff to handle the load of students at student care, and yet the school principal of Valour has the nerve to tell us parents to not send our older kids to student care because the younger ones need the service more. Instead of changing the student care provider or forcing them to deploy more staff to Valour, the principal decided that pointing the knife at us parents would be the easy way out. Come on! Its now a dual income working family as a norm, if most of us have caregivers providing supervision to our kids after school would we still need to send them to student care? All in all, the principal Tan Pin Pin gives me a feeling she doesn't care and is rather irresponsible, and student care teachers have no empathy whatsoever.
