Tried many tuition centres and private tutors but my child didn’t improve much. Got to know about VIP Learning through a friend, and been a year since my child has been with Mr Yong. We have seen great improvements and my child has achieved very good grades in her P3 SA 2 paper which we were really impressed that she could do the paper with ease and achieve very good grades because the feedback from the other parents were that it’s a really difficult paper and many couldn’t score well. VIP’s FAST methods really help in solving difficult and complicated problem sums. Definitely worth the weekly travels from the East all the way to Yishun to attend classes with Mr Yong.

My boy, Imaan, was struggling in math at school. He finds school lesson very hard to understand. Fortunately, through the strong recommendation of a friend, we sent him to VIP. At VIP, the trainers taught him to handle problems with analytical thinking framework. This is something very rare. They always have an easier and faster way for every kind of problem. Imaan has gained new-found confidence and top his level for Foundation Mathematics at School! We are grateful to Teacher Jene and Mr Yong who are always very patient and kind with the students. We wish we have come to VIP earlier.

Before attending VIP Learning Centre's lessons, I had some problems in solving certain Math questions. Upon attending VIP Learning Centre's lessons, I learnt new methods to solve those questions. At first, the methods seemed hard to understand. However, after the teacher clearly explained the methods, I was able to understand how to apply it properly. Their methods are very accurate and help me save tremendous amount of effort & time. Not only did this help me improve in Math to an A*, but also made me love Math even more. Mr Yong’s lessons are interactive and engaging , his notes are carefully curated ,methods are well thought through and usually more effective than methods taught in primary and secondary schools. Making complex questions easy to do is what VIP does best. My parents signed me up for VIP lessons in kindergarten two and never looked back since. Their lessons guided me to distinctions for math in all my major exams. I will be eternally grateful for their help.

As a mother, naturally we want the best for our children. Getting accustom to secondary school, my son was struggling in his mathematics. He was failing his tests and felt despondent. Fortunately attending the VIP math tuition, Mr.Yong is able to clear his understanding and solidify his appreciation for the subject. From low scores of 30’s, he was able to get an A2! He was totally surprised and elated. There is no better remedy than a good dose of hard work and achievement. I believe picking up analytical skills from professional Analyst has made a huge impact in improving my son’s ability. And all this is made possible by Mr. Yong and VIP! Thank You!!!

Mr Yong's VIP method is unique. By getting the student to try his/her own method first, then showing them a faster and simpler method, the student is naturally encouraged and motivated to use the faster /simpler VIP method. My daughter found the various methods taught by other tuition centres and in school to solve problem sums hard to remember. After a few months of classes, her teacher remarked that her math presentation had improved. Her P6 SA1 marks of 56% jumped to 85%for Prelims. Having a calm and patient demeanour makes Mr Yong approachable. So my daughter is even prepared to work on more sums because she knows Mr Yong will help her figure out a shorter and simpler method. Kudos to Mr Yong for building her confidence!

My son has been attending VIP learning centre's Maths course since he was in Primary 2. Over the last 2 years, VIP Learning center’s Founder Mr. John Yong has been tutoring my son and I can truly see the big difference it has make for him for he has been able to score consistently well above 90 marks for all his Maths tests in school and is able to stay in Band 1 grading ever since. At VIP, my son learns to solve problem with highly analytical structures. As parents, we like this systematic way of solving problem, which ensure accuracy and completeness and I do think schools should teach the same way too. Besides teaching smart and efficient methods for solving difficult Maths questions, Mr. Yong also make the lessons highly enjoyable for the children by infusing with riddles and games in class. My son never once complains to me that he does not want to go for Mr Yong’s Math lessons. It is common to hear parents these days complaining about the tough Maths questions in primary schools tests or PSLE exams, and I believe Mr. Yong’s method will help to build a good foundation for the children to tackle and solve most of the Maths questions that are being tested in school these days. I will continue to let my children attend VIP lesson and will also encourage all parents to let their children attend Mr Yong’s lesson at early stage of their learning journey so as to build up a strong foundation in Maths with a very systematic approach. Once again, thank you Mr. Yong for his endearing passion in nurturing and empowering young children to enjoy Maths lesson.

Both my son started with VIP Learning Centre since Primary 1 till end of Secondary school. They love the teaching method in VIP, most importantly they enjoy every session. What is special about VIP is they infuse fun and good values while empowering students with superior analytical skills. This has made learning math so much easier and enjoyable.
