I love sourdough bread. I have tried several from all over Singapore whenever find.a bakery that has it. This is by far the best I have ever chance upon. It is naturally fermented ???

I was a regular and the must-try items are the sourdough boule and their liu sha bao bun. Sourdough is only available half the week though (I think Thurs to Sun?) Their baguette is also good and they have normal and smaller size for family or own consumption. I was expecting more from their eclairs given the quality of the other items, so choux lovers can give that a miss. A real gem nonetheless. They have another outlet nearby at Bukit Timah Plaza.

Tried the LiuSha bun (salted egg lava custard bread) from the beauty world branch. It’s not bad $1.70 for 1 piece which is quite an ok size portion. The taste was surprisingly good but a bit on the salty side. I think a little less salty would be better. I had to drink a lot of sweet milk tea to wash away the salty taste. One thing they should improve is since they don’t tape the individual bun plastic bag with scotch tape, the staff should at least tie up or explain to customer the bag is opened. I was trying to take the bag of bread and nearly dropped the bun out of the plastic bag as I thought it was taped shut but it wasn’t. Nearly lost my bun to the dirty floor! That would have been a sad day for me.

They have awesome sourdough (chewy texture) for $7 and yam bun is not bad too. I really appreciate their affordable and decent quality bakes, as well as good variety.

This is my absolute favorite bakery for buns (and that’s saying a lot because there are bakeries galore in SG!). Haven’t tried one that I didn’t like yet from C’rius but my fave ones are the Bakkwa ones (both types, with and without floss) and the chocolate nut bun. Totally addictive. I don’t even care to wait for the extra bun after 6PM. ?

I tried the yam tarts, blueberry cheese tarts and the custard cream puffs and really enjoyed all three items! I especially enjoyed the cookie crust on the tarts were very buttery.

Craving for early morning bread. Crius was the only one open, so popped round. Reviews mention sourdough, but none in sight (probably too early, fair enough). Remainder of breads were the soft, slightly sweet breads beloved of neighbourhood bakeries, which are not my taste. 3.5 stars.
