Both the ID, Nic & Daniel have done a fabulous job in my unit. Both are v responsible & ensure the agreed works are carried out and they give excellent suggestions. I would recommend them without hesitation.

My renovation ID was Evelyn. We really clicked the first day we met her and indeed we signed with her the first time meeting her as well. This was my text to her walking into my new house, ‘’Hi Evelyn, i finally got to see the house! Thank you for the handover! It looks really nice and we’re both really happy to move into our new house with your great work and efforts! Have a great weekend” ? She did a fantastic job with her designs. Having to run through with us, the through designs of the house before the works begun. Even if there were some errors along the way, they were corrected immediately. The service provided was more than just satisfying. It is said that every renovations will have some defects or imperfections. Even their after-hand-over service was great. Coming down to fix any minor issues. Thanks to Evelyn my house can now be called a home to exactly how we wanted it to be. Thank you so much for all your efforts and hard work Evelyn! Wishing you all the best too ?

I would like to thank our designer Eugene Xing for refurbishing my flat. Eugene was professional, responsive, and patient. He presented several designs to give us more ideas for better utilizing the small space. He provided the timeline with details steps to help us understand the process. He chose the tiles and floors that not only have nice finish and also safe for the children and the elderly. When mistakes happened (probably inevitable in every renovation, and some were from our side), he coordinated with different teams and solved the problems as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate his efforts to make a cozy place for us.

Would like to extend my appreciation Mr Ken Yip who did a very satisfactory job in my new unit. Despite the large extent of work, everything was done properly and professionally on time. He was highly committed and attentive to issues and details.

Kudos to our designer Lucas for this home design project! The Ottocento textured wall, complements the curved champagne gold inlay design beautifully. This adds to the overall elegance and exclusivity of the home. His professionalism is praise-worthy!

The review is to extend our appreciation to Mr David and design/installation team for their hard-work effort. As we foresee on the COVID 19 situation, we spent 8 months ahead in sourcing of quotations, we managed to received three return quotations. Only Mr David quotation presented the quotation with steps which included the work and design requested by us, without insertion of their design in mind attempting to reduce the quotation to look cheaper. Mr David has approached us in very high sincerity and professional manner, presenting the design work and a trip to Hafary (tiling company) in order to catch the idea of what we wanted in minimalistic design. Countless site meetup to confirm the measurement upon his recommendation. Alway heed advice from your ID as we insist on the wall hang toilet bowl which turn out unfixable in the end. The toilet bowl was replaced gradually with absorbed cost (re-installation charge) bear by Mr David. Free replacement of 180 degree hinges for our 1.5yr old daughter cupboard as she like to swing against the direction whiling reaching out for her toys. Due to implication of Covid-19 situation, the entire renovation had took about 4 months to completion. And along the way, we received numerous disturbance call from HDB and town council on regard on the noise complaint due our renovation work. Mr David has stepped up the call handling on behalf of us as well. An advice to new homeowners, please do communicate well with your ID especially late shipment on certain materials and external works (out of ID scope of work) due to COVID 19, so that work can preplan and execute accordingly. Lastly, we extend our thank? to Mr David for making our home so nice and warm. Our home picture as attached for reference.

I would like to specially thank Mr David Wah for his expertise and professionalism in overseeing the entire renovation. This is the second time that we have engaged David. He is very experience and provided valuable, practical and awesome suggestions/designs along the way. Throughout the entire renovation, David was very meticulous and paid extra attention to fine details and is consistently responsive to replies and updates. The workmanship was done well and corresponds to that of the 3D designs. Overall, it’s been enjoyable working with David and his team again! As this is the second time we have engaged David, it’s evident that he have been a really awesome ID, I would not hesitate to recommend him, and would definitely continue to engage him in more future home renovations!

If shoddy work, lack of professionalism & empathy and zero project management were your top of your checklists for renovation, Weiken is your best guy. 1) Work top from Vulcan that came recommended broke and shattered to bits- almost landed on my foot. Made me wonder if the quality of #vulcan #lianhin products were at issue or simply bad installation? 2) Carpentry that was neither uniformed in height nor in depth. In fact I had to suck up to the “rectifications” as I had moved in. Imagine providing your ID with the specs of a built in dishwasher only to realise 2 days prior to move-in, they catered for a free standing. Simply because he didn’t know what a built in was. 3) Laminate which bubbled after installation. And after a hot press, another bubble surfaced few days after. Another attempt to force press went futile. 4) Coarse work- the back of the WC/hose was hard siliconed anthill-tall, to the ground. Pictures speak a thousand words. To all who’ve had a great experience with Weiken, you’ve been lucky! I could only say I paid peanuts there I got monkeys. Never be ‘cheapo”- but for what’s worth, we did wet works & plumbing, hacking, carpentry, kitchen- for $55K. I can’t say I went too cheap either. The ID was barely there and barely competent. Where carpentry could have gone wrong went terribly wrong. When the work top broke, I had to call trade hub direct as the ID ignored my messages. Then all he demanded was the last $1.8K which I had asked to discuss; which the ID did not convey or revert. To top it off, they sent the countertop guys over one morning without confirming. To replace and to reinforce. And I was ridiculed by the ID’s manager for sending off /being unappreciative for the unannounced arrival/ during the busy pre CNY period. And I should accept that reno works are not perfect and require rectifications. I doubt home owners signed up for imperfect works that would require consistent rectifications, did we? There would be a point when we said is enough for both sides and let’s come to the table to discuss. Till now, neither the ID nor the manager has come back to me on the what needs be done which is to simply fix the countertop. Heck the warranty! Sebastian & Derrius- thanks truly for the hard work.
