โ โ โ โ โ Beware when patronising this shop, my car engine was misfired and quickly came to the shop and stalled there. Jason checked and suspected it could be due to following.
1. Sparks plugs issue
2. Petrol injector
3. Ignition coil.
Jason took out the plugs and showed itโs exhausted. Fine, changed it. Problem still persists, took out injector and tested in cylinder tester and persuaded me 3 of our 4 injectors spoilt. Also fine, changed it. Thought the problem resolved but engine die off when on the aircon. Jason helped to clean the throttle, car can run but misfired still persist. He proposed to do walnut blasting at Sgd290.
Think something was not right and asked other workshops for opinion and find out Jason charged me excessively but still canโt resolve the issue.
a. Spark plugs Sgd180 vs Sgd120 (market price)
b. Injectors x4 Sgd1k vs Sgd600 (market price).
To my surprise when went back argued with him on the charges, he replied โI donโt want to repair your car anymore.โ
End up went to another workshop, did walnut blasting cost me Sgd220 and solved the problem. All these could have prevented if at the beginning was proposed to do walnut blasting instead of changing parts unnecessarily.
