★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Shanghai fried rice with chicken. Portion was underwhelming, to say the least. For example, referring back to a meal I had previously, a few weeks back, for comparison, at King of fried rice, I can easily get a larger, more flavorful and aromatic portion of fried rice with a succulent piece of pork cutlet at a similar price, and the fried rice here had a burnt smell and taste to it!
Taste was underwhelming, to put it mildly. Amount and type of ingredients were not worthy of the price. Chicken was nothing special, and portion seemed so sad, given the ubiquity of chicken everywhere in Singapore
Variety is pathetic, with it being advertised as a zi char concept, I would expect more protein (including, but not limited to other fish, pork, seafood, and much more). Which other self-proclaimed zi char store has such a lackluster variety of protein?
I have been to Shanghai and the fried rice here is not even remotely comparable to what I ate there. For me personally, I am thoroughly disappointed because I know that Shanghai fried rice is much better than this in terms of taste, portion, ingredients and variety.
One of the worst meals I ever had the (dis)pleasure to try. Cannot fathom a scenario where I would ever come back to this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is great and the portions are really filling like most Wok Hey outlet. Love the egg fried rice it’s comparable to Din Tai Fung’s! At peak hours they’ll have 4 chefs cooking to accommodate the large order intakes.
However, do note that as of now this outlet only accepts Cash! No cards, no cashless payments!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered egg fried rice with edamame beans, tobiko and chilli. However, the food arrived without tobiko and without chilli.
The customer service is fast to respond after my feedback and provided a $10 grab voucher for the after service recovery. Although I am disappointed with the food, I am satisfied with the fast response from the customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This definitely is one of a kind place, with feels of having the Chinese takeout you see in pop culture. The fresh udon is so good and sufficient portion size.
