Tried their dum briyani for takeaway - rice was flavourful but the chicken was rather bland and the mutton was quite chewy. Went back another day to try their warm tofu noodle, which tasted somewhat like our local mee rebus (but with rice noodles instead of yellow egg noodles). The noodles also came with small bowl of soup that reminds me of Indonesian style soto, but it was too salty for my liking. Overall, interesting food to try, I'll probably go back again to try their Shan noodles one day.

This stall sells one-bowl meals as well as Myanmar cai png-style dishes. They're fresh and full of veggies, and filled us up surprisingly well. The friendly boss offered to put together a little "platter" with tasting portions of veggie cai png dishes for us when we told him we wanted to try lots of things. Enjoyed the mix of strong and mellow flavours this gave us. Standout dish was the Shan tofu/tofu nway – a really nourishing warm bowl of noodles. We also had the pickled tea leaf salad, which wasn't as assertive as some other versions I've had. The whole meal cost $14 and was filling for 2 ladies. Definitely coming back to try the caramelised banana dessert and more noodle bowls!

Everyone should go try the tofu noodles / tofu nway (6) - it's a chickpea gravy over thin rice noodles and accompanied with peanuts and a savory sauce. Totally delicious and comforting. The pickled tea leaf salad / lahpet thoke (6.5) is nutty and crunchy - I have to say that of all the salads I've tried in numerous places, this version is very suitable for the Singapore palate as it is less sharp. Have a look at the extensive menu to try other foods.

Ordered their Special dum biryani. Generous potion with vegetables and soup. Abit different from the Indian biryani. Rice is fragrance and abit moist, chicken meat is tender. They also sell milk tea. And its nice. Give the bowl of coconut noodles a try, its tasty and aromatic. Friendly owner, nice food. Definitely worth trying!

Visited on a couple of occasions. The briyani was delicious though the prices kept increasing on each time I visit. I understand that landlord increases rent but your customers are not there to absorb your operating costs.

Had coconut noodle and Mohinga 2 days apart. My Myanmar helper thinks it’s good enough for her. Interesting taste profile, with lots of mung bean in the broth. Friendly stall owner told my helper there is another Myanmar food stall a stone throw away, serving non halal food.

Great, friendly place serving authentic Myanmar Muslim food. The owner has a fantastic personality. Highly recommend their biryani - the chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender, and rice is cooked just right, without feeling oily at all. Other favorites of mine include mohingha (Myanmar national dish; rice noodles in fish soup), and Myanmar style laksa. I dare say these taste like the real deal in Myanmar - much better than the offerings you can get from Peninsula Plaza. Pro tip - order large portions for big eaters (costs slightly more but it's worth it IMO). Their standard portions are a bit on the small side for me. Closed on Mondays.

This very humble eatery deserves all the praises it gets. It serves the best nostalgic dishes with the freshest ingredients all the way from Myanmar. You can even taste it in the fried onions too! "Little Myanmar" is definitely a place not to be missed and a must try for those who are curious about Myanmar cuisine. Sharing some pics of dishes we brought home and plated it for our friends. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!
