Was trying to help my helper remit some money back to her family due to Covid restrictions. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the transaction. Having a bad experience with trying to get a refund. Paid using PayLah! with my mobile number and World Remit keeps on asking for my bank statement to prove the transaction. It’s either they don’t understand how payments are made in Singapore or either that they don’t understand English. Have been thrown around between different Customer Service agents and have been repeating myself over and over again. Finally called them and after being transferred 3 times, I spoke to a lady called Claire who assured me that I would be refunded through the same method which I paid. However, 2 days later, I received an email from Nuran asking me for my bank statement again! I replied and explained the situation again. I did not hear from her and received an email saying that they did not hear from me and my case was closed! Ridiculous company and I would not recommend anyone to use WorldRemit. It’s a pain dealing with them and I think you would be better off using any of the local banks to remit money.

Been having very good experience until yesterday. As the banks on thee recipient side would not release the funds due to a spelling error in the name I called several times over 2 days to get it corrected. Each time the agent gave an action she d do and the impression that it d be rectified within the hour but sadly it was never so. And yes, each time I called I ve to repeat my story even though there s case no, which I thought would have provided a record of the problem and the actions done as well as the status. Sadly it was not so, every agent responded with a new investigation and a new action. Till now my recipient has yet to receive the money. I sent an email to complain. There was no acknowledgement so I don't even know if the email got through.

i tried using world remit services few months ago. They told me that they could not send the money out due to a red flag which they could not disclose. However the worse of their service came when i am suppose to get my refund. They requested for a bank statement which clearly shows my name as well as the funds leaving the account which i have duly complied. They kept asking me for the same information even when i have already sent it to them. Eventually, they disabled my account. i guess that is a signal to say that they are not gonna refund me

Excellent customer support very knowledgeable and friendly. Able to address all my questions and problems. First time using World Remit to send money. The app is very easy and hassle-free to send money to my love ones in Philippines. Will continue to use World Remit to send money next time and will also recommend it to all my friend.

FRAUD PROMO CODE AND TOO MUCH WORK TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT TOO MUCH WORK TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT, you have to call them to verify or else your money gets stuck. Also payment takes 2 weeks to be done. FRAUD with the referral code! Without adding the code is $4 Debit card fees on TOP of the transaction fees but once you add the promo code the fees goes up to $21!!! 5 TIMES MORE!! ended up not having reward!!! Sucha lie

On 17 Feburary 2021, I requested for a cancellation and refund after realising that I was dealing with a scammer. Thankfully the fund is still with WorldRemit and has not been send out to the recipient. WorldRemit requested for my bank statement to process the refund. I have told them that I'm unable to provide it as I am still using a traditional "Passbook Savings Account". Hence, I have provided them with my copy of my physical passbook as well as the transaction history showing the payment made to WorldRemit. However, they still insist to send in my bank statement. How am I able to do so when I'm unable to retrive it from my bank? Why WorldRemit cannot be a little bit more flexible with the verification, especially for users like me who are still using a passbook? It has been so long already and I have not receive my refund back. This is so frustrating! Really poor service!

I transferred from Australia to America and after 8 business days the transaction hasn't been done. They say it's 1-3 business days, not true. 4 days ago I requested a cancellation and the transaction hasn't been canceled yet. I just hope I'm not scammed. I'll never use your service again and I'll post as many bad reviews as I can.. you don't deserve to be in business. People send money overseas because we have a need and you don't take it seriously

DO NOT use WorldRemit. It’s a trap. Transaction was duplicated twice on the app. Money was transferred to their DBS account and upon my request for cancellation, they asked for my bank statement in order to issue the refund. Which doesn’t make sense because companies do not need bank statements to do refunds. I had to report to BOTH the police and the bank before my refund was FINALLY processed. I’m still angry even after I’ve got my refund because of this whole fiasco and all the anguish they have put me through. I think they are a scam. I feel awful for everyone out there who still has funds stuck with them. Don’t hesitate to TAKE ACTION!
