Here almost every week for their super awesome mala (小辣 or mild spicy)! Usual ingredients: 玲玲卷(fried beancurd rolls), cheese sausage cocktails, broccoli, maggi or the round curly noodles, potato noodles!!!) Taste is great! It’s pricey, but there’s no other mala in the vicinity ?‍♀️ Oh, they have 20% cash rebate on next purchase when using Favepay.

This mala hotpot business is situated opposite Qiji at Level 1, and facing the taxi and coach drop off place. Decent food quality and taste. They have a good variety of food ingredients to choose from and kept well (away from flies). They also offer dishes like Chong Qing Grilled Fish and Mala Fish, as well as Mala set meals for 1 or 2 pax. Price may be on the higher side (perhaps to match up with the higher rental cost).

Was here today for simple lunch. I picked only the leafy vegetables (2 types), one toufu, one beancurd skin, 2 prawns, some chicken. The bill came up to around $16. My friend's plate has more meat, so hers is about $20. My 2 other smarter friends shares theirs, a bowl with some meat, mushrooms and vegetables at around $20 plus. Taste wise, my mid spicy was just nice but was quite watery and oily (sorry forgot to take a photo). It's not too salty. Service wise, I thought their staff are friendly and speed of service was adequate too. I guess it's definitely more costly to have mala at a dedicated outlet. It's already expensive when mala is sold at a hawker centres or coffee shop. So bear that in mind. Good to share, so the base cost of the sauce / frying can be shared amongst a few people. Since it's C19, do use dedicated utensils when dishing out food.

Reasonable price for MLXG here, although taste of the mala base is not the best nor most fragrant around (decent enough!)

Tried this Mala restaurant first time. Selected some veggies and chiken and so on. The price was S$15.50 which is ok.

First try at this place and loved it. Wide variety of ingredients to choose from. The bowl was $30 and served 3 of us. Savoury and perfect for a rainy weather. Will visit again :-)
