★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to try the Chek Kin HK Wanton mee but saw the queue quite long and the average review was only 3.4, so looked around to try a new place. Saw this Xin Wei Xiang noodle stall manned by a few old aunties and uncle. So give it a try!
Wow! Surprised by this unassuming stall!
First of all it looks like there is a loyal group of customers because there is a queue of ~ 4 people.
We tried the Bak Chor Mee and the Loh Mee.
The Bak Chor Mee sauce is very flavorful. Asked for extra pork lard and the aunty really gave alot. The pork lard is crispy and tasty. The soup that comes with has flavour in it too which is good.
The Loh Mee is not too thick and has lots of different flavor in the sauce.
Overall a very nice experience. Definitely can come again!
