★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable bread sold by a cheerful couple. This is the traditional pillowy bread (chiam tao roti) that is soft and fluffy. Opt for a spread like peanut butter/kaya/strawberry jam with margarine and dip it in hot coffee, simply divine!!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been getting fresh bread from Xing Sheng since I was a kid. Aunty's cheerful attitude along with her simple but great white bread is a nice start to a chill morning.
They have an assortment of breads though my favorite has been the white traditional toast. You can have it toasted and spread with butter, peanut butter, blueberry, or brown Kaya.
Come before 10 and preferably by 9 to get fresh bread. Otherwise she might be sold out even then, it's no guarantee as they sometimes supply to events.
