Ya Kun Family Cafe

Though there were designated area for grab food collection, but the outlet still allow the driver to sit anywhere ignoring the contactless / safe-distance measures. On that day, this grab food driver is sick and he is not putting on his mask while waiting for food collection.

Ya Kun outlet in Westmall ~ poor service ! Senior staff very rude and loud roaring at customers for stickers as proof of safe entry already submitted at entrance and yet no staff standby to issue ! Unnecessary lengthy inconvenient safe entry imposed that should be removed ! And family cannot find seats first when one already in Q to pay for orders ! Again all get roared back to Q !

They make great tea . Their butter sugar toast is so crispy and mouth watering. Always a fan of Ya Kun Kaya Toast. ??

Long wait and cold toast. Placed my order for iced coffee and 2 slices of toast at 2.45pm, checked with cashier at 2.55pm, my order was not ready yet. 2.59pm, I told them I will change my order to takeaway. Took a while before I got my toast, and even then, the toast was cold. 2 halves were cut and placed on the side while toasting another slice which was later placed on top of the 2 halves (which by now have cooled to room temperature). Cashier could have informed me that there was a large order ahead that required at least a 15-min wait. No, he didn’t do that. If he had informed me, I would’ve made an informed decision as to whether to wait or not, and I would’ve borne the consequence of my decision. When I went to check on the order, I was told to wait and be patient. No updates again. What could’ve been a relaxing short 15-min break with coffee and toast ended up being a frustrating experience with cold toast.

Went to taste Singapore's famous kayatoast . It's really awsome.more than I expected. Loved it so much....?. If get a change...go...taste...feel it...that's what I can say....??

i like the bitterness taste of tea leaf on their milk tea. i waited 30 min for kaya toast to be served. they must have forgotten about it, it was only prepared when i approached the kitchen staff.

Very strange outlet. Peanut option was as with other places that’s taste the same. As consistent with the food goes, ice coffee taste quite bitter. Previously ordered the hot option and it taste very good.

Located at level 1 of West Mall shopping centre. Traditional Chinese breakfast/tea menu. Loved their half boiled eggs. The service wasn’t as prompt and fast as compared to other outlets. And my order was served wrong- wanted tea without milk. But tea with milk was served. Cleanliness was still alright. Spacious and sufficient seats were available, customers had the options to sit indoors and outdoors. Some of the items were sold out by the time, I ordered. Would want to try the Pandan Chiffon cake the next time. This store has a “no photography” policy. And also a 45 minutes dining period.
