Very bad order management. Waited 1 hour for two simple dishes, while people who ordered after me got theirs 20mins before me. Will NOT return!

Refused to serve me at 11.59am because their opening hours start at 12pm. Then refused to serve me fried rice as they claim their boss do not want them to log that first order in at the start of the day as it is not auspicious because in chinese, to fry = getting fired from their job. If you don't believe me, you can try it for yourself. Absolutely ridiculous how a business is heavily dictated by superstition so much as to literally drive customers away.

Service provided was ok unlike other reviews and food was quite exceptional amongst over Tzechar of similar price. All dishes were yummy except the hotplate tofu which was abit lackluster. The guiness stout pork rib is recommended though do not expect alcohol taste. The fried sotong is addictive, has a familiar curry taste (?). French beans were a little oily but acceptable. Overall, affordable and good Tzechar. Did not try their signature fish hotpot though...

The food is nice, but I noticed of late their XO fried rice have dropped in standard because they do not put as much XO sauce. They charge extra $1 if you request for more XO sauce for the fried rice. Location is a little out of the way.

Having the words "Fishhead Steamboat" in their name, you would think that's their signature dish. However, their fishhead steamboat fell short of expectation. The soup was too salty, the fish wasn't processed properly and we bit into quite a few fish scales, spinach is not really a good additional in fishhead steamboat, and towards the end, the soup tasted bitter (think it's because if the dang gui). The only interesting thing was it was a charcoal steamboat. But I know I will definitely not go back for this dish again.

Came here to eat twice. Can choose 3 types of fish meat. Had try the snapper & garouper hotpot. It was good -lots of spinach /yam /cabbage/seaweed . I like the traditional charcoal feel when hving it. The soup was tasty too. The honey pork ribs was delicious. 1 hot pot just nice - can share btw 3 person .

23 Apr 21 Having late dinner here; my wife ordered white Mee Hoon & clay pot egg plants , total price $17. I was thinking; their signature white Mee Hoon serving size slight smaller than my thought . ? Overall taste is acceptable.

Taste are OK, but a little on the pricy side. Ordered the Custard Crab, Server told me it's $45 a crab estimated about 600g, but the Crab I received looks so small probably only 400g. The Steamboat is also very expensive, the smallest one for Red Grouper $33 only 4-5 small pcs of fish meat and where is my fish eyes and lips? My reason of eating fishhead was to eat the gelatin parts, though others might be glad to gets the meats. For $33 I would expect half a fish head.
