Ordered the tomato soup base. It’s interesting that they don’t separate the meat and vegetables during weighing. And they don’t serve rice too. So you have to choose between their instant noodles and udon. I find the price rather steep. One good thing is they allow customisation of dipping sauce and this one taste good.

I really like this place. The staff here is usually very nice and there is a lot of variety. Veggies are fresh too. And I like that mala soup & the condiments station very much

Prices and selection of the foods is acceptable. Will be better if the restaurant provide peppercorn powder too., not just peppercorn oil. As it’s a standard to have peppercorn powder in china mala tang restaurant. As those who are like me that preferred more numbness. The powder is a better option as the oil will make the dish too oily.

I LOVE YGF SO MUCH! my go-to sauce is always 3-5 spoonful of garlic, vinegar, 麻椒油, sesame oil. I will pour the sauce over my soup (beef bone, least spicy) Super yum and I keep coming back for more

If you are a spicy intolerant, u only can choose tomato soup base. Anyway it’s delicious too. Too bad even beef soup has tad of spiciness needless to say mala broth. Variety of meats, mushroom ?, seafood ?, veg and noodles ? . All will be weight at same range of price I spent ~$30 (no service charge but they are charging GST) for 2 bowls sumptuous noodles in tomato ? soup A lot of China ?? bottles drinks in menu too. It’s delicious just limited choices of the soup base which’s minus ⭐️ . Good thing #1: the bowls and tongs are kept in a sterilised cupboard , safe and hygienic #2: a lot of dipping sauce to choose from, unlike another mala tang seller Worth a try ! Will come back

Ordered 2 sets for my family, middle spicy for us and tomato soup for my kids. We all liked the food very much. It’s one of the best Mala soup in Singapore. Service also quite good. Will surely visit again.

Deliciously sinful soup base for mala fans. They have a beef broth as shared in other reviews...and that does set it apart from others. Soup is not really too spicy despite ordering the highest spice level which is quite interesting because some other brands really go all out on the spice and heat factor. What's good? Option for kids - tomato based soup which makes it family friendly Beef Broth base is an interesting take And it does add umami to the soup Seems more sanitary than other brands as they have this Cutlery Disinfection Machine where you take the tongs and the big bowls from. But hmm...food spread is still left open and chilled so..*shrugs* What can be better? The choice of food items for the mala-tang can be more diverse. Spread is still relatively the same as others, nothing too special. The make your own sauce dip is an interesting idea but the station is not very clean. Oily bottles and sauce stains. Overall big on taste and spice level is palatable but go easy on the soup cos it is sinfully oily. One soup can cost around $25 especially if you order the noodles. (Everything by weight)

The free sauce dips and the mala beef stock soup sets this place apart from the other Mala stalls. It’s a cut above your usual Mala stalls. I like it that they slice stuff like the bamboo shoots to be smaller so you don’t have take the whole chunk. Seems like the price is the same whether it’s meat or vegetables, based on weight. Some vegetables have a lot more water. So choose wisely.
