★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the $2 version of Chee Cheong Fun. Lovely silky and bouncy texture of the noodles. You can have it either with sweet sauce with chili or sesame oil with soya sauce are both delicious. The sauces are pretty average but i do come here for the noodles texture.

If you’re looking for something simple and good this will work for you. 5 stars for the purpose it serves. 3 stars for the taste- pretty standard and homely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the original Tiong Bahru market stalls selling economical eats stall selling Chee Cheong, fried noodles, yam cake, porridge etc.
Also one of the few remaining stalls in Sg that sells 白果粥 ginkgo nut porridge, which is my main reason for patronising especially on Mon when most other stalls are closed.
Enjoy the yam cake which is firm with chunks of yam, goes well with chilli/ sweet sauce mix. Chee cheong fun is same factory supplied as most - just wish this auntie wont cut them in big chunks as it doesn’t allow the sauce to be nicely mixed.
