We were the first table at 12.30pm on a Sunday, speaks volumes.

β β β β β Good traditional teochew style food that retains the traditional flavours. Restaurant run family style within a compact space, max about 10 tables. Food taste great. Traditional favourites like cold pork trotter jelly, fried prawn roll, fried liver roll, fried crab meat roll, steam promfet, braised goose, sakted vegetables with duck soup, yam paste, cai po (preserved radish) fried kway teow all available here and done well.
Service was friendly, sincere and down to earth.
Parking available just outside restaurant.
Reservations recommended esp on weekends.
Price wise will be $$.5 (2.5) out of 4.

Experience not very good. I came here during lunch hour with colleagues. Food tasted very plain, shrimp not fresh, steam fish over cooked, soup over-powered by Chinese cooking wine taste. Most important of all - serving speed is extremely slow (we are just one of the 3 tables), and both our table and the table next to us are constantly asking them to speed up. We spent most of the time just waiting. Absolutely not suitable for business lunch.
What I like:
- plenty of parking lots
- air conditioned
What can be improved:
- food taste need to be greatly improved
- serving frustratingly slow

β β β β β Authentic Chinese Teochew restaurant. A place where my family has been visiting since 30 years ago. Many find memories of family birthdays at this restaurant over the years.
Cold pork jelly is a must have, as well as the fried yam chunks!
Service is slight on the lesser side but nothing to complain about, they are just a little under staffed.

β β β β β Visit this restaurant during phase2 HA period, along with my boss from UK who is really into TeoChew cuisine.
Portion wise considered small but taste wise considered quite nice. Seating is indoor and is quite spacious as well.

β β β β β We ordered the jellyfish which was too bland for our liking. We also had the prawn rolls which was alright, could taste the prawns well, and went together with the sweet sauce. The spinach with silverfish was nice and tasty. The oyster omelette was crispy and well cooked. Goose was decent. Orh nee was fragrant, but portion size was slightly small for the price.

β β β β β Nice Teochew Restaurants with wide variety of Food Selection and Chef who is willing to go extra mile to customize some of the dishes. Must try food delicacies as shown in the photo. One drawback, is that the fried rice abit too salty and at certain crowded timing, the place can be quite noisy as it is open concept restaurant.
