Not the original typical Sarawak Kolo Mee. But the soft bone spare ribs are good. Worth a try if no long queue.

Taste and the ingredients are different from the other types of kolo mee I tried. Instead of usual minced meat and charsiew, they have the soft bone meat which is really tasty and the wantons and dumpling were not bad too. Charsiew were quite ok too. Unable to really compare A to A with others but this kolo mee stall is not bad. Can give it a try.

1. The portions have shrunk. Very small portion of noodles and overpriced. 2. During lunch peak hours, they continue to take orders from delivery apps even though the queue is so long and they obviously do not have enough capacity to serve both groups of customers. 3. They don’t tell you when the ingredients are sold out and unavailable. They simply replaced my pork ribs to minced meat. And pork ribs, even when available, barely have much meat on it. Would not recommend this place.

Love their chicken feet! Well marinated and soft. Really crunchy soft bones with fleshy parts at the joints between the claws and legs. Chilli is appetizing and complements well with the dish ?

This noodle stall can be found inside the round market at Tampines Street 11. It is always long queue so I never gotten a chance to try it till two weeks ago, during one time morning when I passed by and saw the queue wasn’t very long so I joined in. I have been very curious of why so many people dun mind queueing for the noodle… but after I had tried it, I still dun know why people are so crazy about it…. Honestly the taste is so so & dun give me that “WOW” kind of feeling ?

It is stated as white kolo mee on signage but they put some braised pork gravy over the noodles. Signature kolo mee priced $6,7,8,9 & 10. The kolo mee is prepared and taste different from those typical kolo mee with minced meat and char siew. 3 out of 2 of us who tried, prefer the other type of kolo mee.

Overly hyper stall. Tried the kolo mee, it’s just meh. Very slow that cause the long queue. Not like everyone order a lot. Only 4ppl infront of me and took more than 15min.. wouldn’t try again. This is for $6. Not worth it.

I know this is a really popular spot but frankly, I’d stay away from it. Queues are often long. Even at 2pm, I had to wait a good 20 minutes. At this timing, some items may be already sold out (e.g., chicken feet, spare ribs). As such, it is good practice to check before joining the queue to avoid being disappointed 20 minutes later. When you get close you will notice that the long queue can be partially attributed to the slow service. It takes a good 3-4 minutes of waiting at the front of the queue just for two bowls of noodles. For those less patient folks, consider this a warning. Im not a fan of kolo mee so I had the “yummy wanton mee”. Taste wise - flat and relatively underwhelming. I’m not a fan of the sambal, and the sauce that coats the noodles isn’t amazing at all. Char siew slices seem to be very typical of wanton mees (not a compliment). The wontons are average. The soup, bland. You’d be lucky to not be on the receiving end of vegetable root trimmings. Despite the heightened cost of business, paying $4.50 for the bowl of “yummy” wanton mee I had wasn’t too far off from being a daylight robbery.
