★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No fragrance at all. Rice not crispy and not like the usual claypot whereby the rice will stick to pot. It can’t be worth 4.4stars right? Ask for one more set of plate n chopstick , face Black black and never give another set too. Not worth the google review 4.4stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tender chicken pieces, everyone at the table agreed that was the highlight of our claypot rice dinner. I personally like the grains used… not mushy.
Located in a more hidden location of the massive Chinatown Complex FC. It’s worth the effort to find it to settle a claypot rice meal here. Lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 2 notable stalls inside smiths street chinatown hawker centre that serves claypot rice. One being Lian he Ben Ji, the another one being Zhao ji. Both stalls have some previous links. Happen to be here and decided to Zhao Ji a try this time round. As compared to LHBJ, this stall is singley runned by an elderly aunty. Prices starts from SGD$10 for the claypot rice and you can choose from 3 different varieties.
Apart from claypot rice, they also sell double boiled soup and few other dishes. Ordered, paid and was told that the food will be brought over to my table. Waited close to 20mins and my food was served.
Portion was generous, meat was well marinated and tender. Would be keen to try their soup next time round. I would choose this over LHBJ anytime.

+ very strong wok hey flavour
+ soup is very flavourful with affordable price range. SGD 4 for a bowl to share among 2 pax.
+ the owner is considerate to help us debone the chicken. Really huge plus point as I hate to have bone splinters in my claypot rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Claypot rice available for lunch at this food center and stall stands on food served. tender chicken meat on rice, smells and tastes good. small bits of salted fish enhances flavor and taste of food. stall ran out soup at time of visit, hope to try those on next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered $13 portion for 2pax and it was quite filling. It tasted good and the rice with the sauce is flavorful. Chicken meat is tender but I hope that there are more meat for the serving. Somehow I didn't get the veggie and was only given the spring onion but it's still pretty satisfying! The auntie is working by herself so be patient with the food
